In an interview in 2015 Gibbs was asked about Warriors comment that the two were a package deal. Gibbs basically said that he's going to make his own decision, but yeah; playing with Warrior would be cool and could happen. In that particular interview it was clear that the package deal idea originated from Warrior. My guess is that Gibbs is going to make his own decision. Could be Tenn, could be Georgia, could be Bama. I wouldn't even be surprised if Clemson worked their way into the mix.

So then Reed committing to UGA should not help UGA either, correct?

He could be right. Gibbs is playing this year at Grayson. Clemson's other QB commit is there,plus Grayson's former HC is now at Clemson.Though it's been said that he's a Dawg lock.

Do you seriously believe he's going to come out and say, "yeah, wherever Nigel goes is where I'll go"?? He is a high profile recruit and wants to enjoy the process, too.

Knew you would have something to say about my post. Feel free to post some actual content. My last post is loaded with fact based content that many people who follow recruiting appreciate. Sounds like you're the one with resentment issues; as there is nothing in my last post that has an inkling of resentment. I've been clear that I'm a Georgia fan...but I have family in Tenn that have been Vol fans longer than most people on here have been alive. My wife has an aunt, uncle and two cousins who are life long Clemson fans. The owner of a local flooring store where I buy flooring from is a Bama fan. My wife's co-worker is another big Clemson fan; etc, etc. We all get along just fine.

My Mom's former neighbor is a Dawg fan...so I guess my step neighbor-in- law? Guy picking up trash on the road had a Mississippi State shirt...just drove by him sooo? Who gives a crap what your six degrees of separation to Tennessee fandom is? You're an UGA fan and your "facts" are UGA tinged and to suggest that you're here to gently educate and interact is straight up bull. I don't resent rival fans...as long as they're straight up. So you're vicariously involved with Vol fans whose fandom exceeds most of our lifespans? I've been ALIVE 46 years so start there. :wink2: Listen, I was maybe a little harsh with the "fake nice guy". I'm sure your original intent on here was to interact with rival SEC fans on their message board which happens to shame any of the feeble attempts your fandom slaps against the wall. . That being said, you're human...and a fan. You're not above selfish intent...none of us are. It bleeds out with some of your phrases. Your continued emphasis on the Reed/Gibbs father/son type relationship and your butthurt resentment of "absolute declarations" on OUR board. Guess what? There are fans who declare victory for THEIR teams on THEIR board ad infinitum. If you really enjoy the interactive experience on here you might want to ratchet down the resentment of such. It's a reality and if some of our own posters can't quell it, you sure as hell can't. :nono: I'd appreciate your presence on here much more if you were a little bit more honest. I'm not sure that Orange Venom has ever been wrong with a Georgia recruit. I'll roll with him until he changes his tune...VOL.

Coaching staffs and insiders, heck even friends and family sometimes get trolled too. We've probably already lost Gibbs, we just don't know it yet.

That's what's so infuriating about the college and NFL replay systems IMO. We see it in slo-mo and see things that are obvious. Yet, despite the clear evidence and common sense associated with it, the official's decision goes the other way. Moseley's play vs Ky was arguably the most egregious call that I've ever seen in 40+ years of watching football.
