It was a UGA site so I doubt the homer asked him about UT, or if he did, left it out of the article. Gibbs hasn' committed and indicated he won' for awhile, so no reason for anyone to be fretting at this point.

The longer he holds out, the better it is for us. Other coaches are negative recruiting against UT. When Smart, Saban and Dabo tell elite recruits that UT coaches can't develop talent, don't put players in the NFL and choke away big games, we have to prove them wrong on the field.

UGA's pitch might fall apart, too. Smart and Eason could easily disappoint, starting with the opener.

JR Reed told Gibbs that he thought Georgia gave him the best opportunity to go to the NFL. Their depth chart probably is better for Reed than UT, so that makes sense. Gibbs didn't say that.

It makes sense though. Kirbs is a defensive coach who has sent a truckload of guys to the NFL. Gibbs plays defense. I mean, I get what he's saying.

Those players are 4 and 5 star talents who would more than likely be going to the league regardless. It's not like they've been coaching up 2 and 3 star players.

Been scrolling through these pages, could someone give me the short version on how this recruitment has changed and we have lost the momentum? I haven't been visiting his page because I thought he was all Vol and there was little to worry about here. Now I see he is trending GA and visiting a ton of schools.... what gives? Sorry late to the party on this one....
