Been scrolling through these pages, could someone give me the short version on how this recruitment has changed and we have lost the momentum? I haven't been visiting his page because I thought he was all Vol and there was little to worry about here. Now I see he is trending GA and visiting a ton of schools.... what gives? Sorry late to the party on this one....

Basically will be a UGA or UT choice probably close to NSD imo. I think we still lead slightly but UGA is a legit threat. They have a cousin of his as well now, so we don't have that family advantage anymore.
Yep. Tucker is a big plus here for Georgia, as he will be coaching the DBs along with being the DC.
Have we not had a lot of 4-5* guys go undrafted? Yes. Fulmer, Kiffin, Dooley. No, it's not about Butch.
Our DC is also known for his outstanding DBs and Martinez has done great things with them even before Shoop came on board. To say you have an advantage because your DC will also coach your DBs is laughable. The DBs at UT will have two incredible coaches. Tucker may help you but I would say we have the better coaching situation for DBs.
Gibbs said in the article that JR Reed wanted to be coached by Mel Tucker and that Georgia gave him the best opportunity to go to the NFL. It sure sounds like Tucker gave Georgia an advantage in JR's recruitment. It's just a fact of recruiting that Tucker's 10 years of NFL experience as a DC and DB coach is attractive to HS DBs. I actually believe many college and HS coaches are better than NFL coaches, but my opinion doesn't count. Of course in Tucker's case, he has coached both in college and the NFL.
It's also logical to think that Jake Reed having played 12 years in the NFL is also drawn to a coach with significant NFL experience like Tucker. I'm quite sure Jake Reed was involved in JR's decision, and you can bet that Gibbs is going to elicit guidance from Jake Reed; who Gibbs says is like a second father to him; and has been heavily involved in his training.
Not predicting Gibbs will end at Georgia; but I do think they at least have a shot. I still think Bama is a possibility, and he recently said he's going to go on some visits; which means anything can happen.
Yes still feeling good haven't seen or heard anything to make me change what I said
The way things are going this year, I will believe it when I see it. The Higgins stunt really gut punched me. After MG and Fant finally got on board, I thought we were going to really finish strong. I was just starting to believe things were turning our way, now it just feels like all momentum is lost. I have a lot respect for the information you bring. It is not that I don't believe you. I just think for some crazy reason, all the elite guys we have had high confidence levels with, just will not jump on board. I think Gibbs is falling for this UGA bullcrap. And that is where he goes...SSDD.
