Man I don’t know what it is. From what I’ve heard tonight, Auburn’s staff told Pappoe that Pruitt isn’t happy right now and some of our staff may not stick around for long. They’re using the OC hire as a way to tell him that Tennessee is a giant cluster. It has nothing to do with his Rivals drop. That’s dumb. He’s been an Auburn commit, so if anything that’s on them not us. And that is irrelevant as to where you pay college ball.

Kinda ironic that a staff that won’t be at Auburn in 2020 is using our staff potentially leaving as the draw there.... I think the other factor is the same reason Cam Newton chose Auburn.

if he believed that from a coach that has one ass cheek out the door in auburn, then the kid isnt too bright.

I can see them saying that but that also would be a terrible pitch considering he is in a worse spot at auburn

This, Gus is a dead coach walking.. If the story is story that boosters have handcuffed him as far staff hires, he's gone in a year and likely the rest of that staff.. OP better think long and hard on this one.

The irony is incredibly thick if they are trying to sway OP by saying coaches won't be at UT long while Gus is literally a lame duck head coach that will be gone next year sans a NC next year

His folks need to take a step back and take a reasonable look at it. Surely they know that Gus is holding on for dear life, and they have to at least explain that to their son, if he has bought what Gus has fed him tonight.
