Like several have alluded to for a while....For the Roquan Smith and size argument, OPs frame does not look destined to add 30 lbs like Roquan was able to do. OP also does not play nearly as physical at the point of attack and gets washed out a lot at the high school level. @secking has alluded to this himself in a nice way not to rile up the masses.

The same people making the next Ro Smith argument on here will the ones calling him a bust when he doesn’t contribute at LB the first year.

Said it before, but would much rather close with Marshall or To’o to’o when factoring in LBs. The optics on Pappoe would be a great for recruiting and he would be a luxury in sub packages so I still really hope we flip him.

Imo after watching him play he is more comparable to what Derrick Brooks did at lb down in Tampa.

I will say it again....and chief I am not backing down from this in any way shape or form...OP 100% was silent. He told three coaches including JP that he was going to come play for the vols both in person and over the phone over the past few weeks. Why do you think all the media smoke calling for him to be a vol came from...you think those guys just made it up???? They get leaked information from certain coaches and mouthpieces for certain coaches...its not rocket science.

As of this morning I was told that OP to the barn is a done deal. And I think I saw someone reporting something about his mom. It was actually both folks who pressured him to stick with his original commitment (which we don’t know why this came up all of the sudden but you can take a wild guess). So as of this morning I would say the door is shut. Now we ARE working to try and get back in there and see what can be done but I will be honest it didn’t sound very promising. If something changes and I hope that it does Ill let you know. It could take some twists and turns but I am not too bullish on that right now.

That’s not true lmao. Pruitts first half class he had 8 4*’s, .87 average and ranked 21. Butchs was 4 4*’s, .85 average and ranked 25. Pruitt hasn’t completed his first class

Also, everyone take a look at Butch's first full class. There are 4 players out of 32 which either lived up to the hype or overperformed their ranking. It was horrendous in hindsight.

Where are those great classes today? 3/4 are gone and transfers out. Those classes were very inflated. Recruit 30 and today have 7 of them still here. Recruiting class ranking means nothing if they don't pan out

There are multiple Rivals 4 stars in TN that actually cant play at this level. Butch would have signed them all for window dressing. Pruitt and staff said nope. Not up in here.
