It is sad to see recruits be tugged in different directions by people who supposedly care for them. At 18 years old, a kid doesn't want to disappoint certain people in their lives. If adults would do the right thing and let them make their own choices. In rare cases, there have been some who ultimately go with their heart in choosing, but there is a lot of pressure and many make the choice that was made for them. Let's hope Owen does what is right for himself.
