Everyone was reporting a flip to TN then Gus did an in home visit. He tweeted he was going to Auburn.

That we know of. I'm inclined to think that AU is the reason for that. I wouldn't think it far fetched for him to visit in secret. We'll see. Not counting on it, but anything could happen with this staff.

Something just ain't rite, I took my orange colored glasses off and it still just isn't adding up as to how he can be such a huge UT lean and no visits from AU staff and then outta nowhere he has a in home and BAM it's over I'm done I'm all AU and not allowing visits from UT staff and the trail goes quite..... But I do agree that nobody knows what will happen except for Owen n his family.

Not really surprising. I've seen UT lose kids in the 11th hour to Auburn numerous times over the years. Always the same pattern.

Based on what AV stated, my guess would be they've convinced influential family members to have him attend Auburn instead of UT. Kid feels the obvious pressure to please/help his family so he's taking the easier road. Think it's a simple thing for an 18 year old kid to tell his family no? Kids will do and endure a lot to please their family. Sometimes it works out and sometimes the misery of the choice leads to devastating consequences. It's a similar culture at UT and AU so it probably won't end up that way for him. He'll probably go on to a nice career and do well. Might even get to the league. Wish him the best. Very tough spot for him....if this is the case.
