I do find it interesting Pruitt actually spoke to Pappoe moments before he committed to the Barn.

Seems like there’s still communication between him and our coaching staff.

The five-star Auburn commit was all over the field, making a number of tackles and showing great sideline-to-sideline speed. Pappoe’s non-stop motor combined with his football IQ means he’s always around the ball and usually the first guy to meet the ball carrier. It was a long night for Grayson but Pappoe’s performance had nothing to do with that. The biggest knock on Pappoe has been his size, but he continues to dispel those concerns with excellent play. Pappoe remains solidly committed to the Tigers but may visit other programs this fall.

The fact that he's making the trip is a good sign and if you remember long ago (when he was in the 8th grade) he also said Tennessee was his dream school and told me several times that's where he would commit if given the chance.

Obviously a lot has changed and I think he's going to be very hard to pry away but the first step is getting him in town that it appears that is happening soon.

He sees him everyday at school, practice, Friday nights but he needs to come with him to UT on an OV in order to recruit him to Auburn? That doesn't make much sense.
