'21 GA CB Nyland Green (UGA commit)

The optimism on here is amazing.
Any one other than an eternal optimist would probably think McGhee decommitted because of the lousy look on the field that has become the norm around here,
And Green will probably decide to pass on joining the misery
There is no optimism on the board. Odd you would think there is.

Groundhog day for the recruiting section begins with Nyland Green again. According to some, Green has moved on from Tennessee, but we don't believe that to be the case. Georgia, Clemson and Tennessee remain the top 3 with Green hoping to do something before the end of the month. He has stated that he wants to wait until his senior season ends and that is likely to happen Friday night. If that happens, then it wouldn't be shocking to see him do something early next week which would meet his stated hopes. His relationships with Derrick Ansley and Jeremy Pruitt are really strong and the Vol staff has done a nice job of recruiting the Green family for several months.

Keep holding on to hope!
He is not coming here if he is a true 4 star. If he did we would have to question his decision making on and off the field.

From the Clemson boards.

"We have contended the last two weeks that Clemson has trended favorably, with all signs pointing to the Tigers battling UGA to the finish line. Tennessee appeared out, with Auburn located on the periphery.
One contact we spoke with Sunday suggested that Green has gone back-and-forth on his choice over the last week, which won’t come as a shock to you.
Based on our latest information, we have reason to feel the odds are now substantially against Clemson, and the Vols are very much back in play.
Hey, we’ve tried telling everyone the winds abruptly change with Green quite often.
You just cling to the chance they shift in your direction before the buzzer sounds.
One of those recruits, in one of those years."

Also Gump man bad.

I do think Green wants to come here. But seeing no progress on the field, going either 3-7 or 2-8 in year 3 it's hard for a kid to put much trust in a coach going into year 4 that is not going to be here year 5. I think this is the same reason Lewis and McGhee decommitted.

Ultimately I think he goes to UGA.
