'21 GA CB Nyland Green (UGA commit)

I do think Green wants to come here. But seeing no progress on the field, going either 3-7 or 2-8 in year 3 it's hard for a kid to put much trust in a coach going into year 4 that is not going to be here year 5. I think this is the same reason Lewis and McGhee decommitted.

Ultimately I think he goes to UGA.
careful out on that limb there, hoss.

From the Clemson boards.

"We have contended the last two weeks that Clemson has trended favorably, with all signs pointing to the Tigers battling UGA to the finish line. Tennessee appeared out, with Auburn located on the periphery.
One contact we spoke with Sunday suggested that Green has gone back-and-forth on his choice over the last week, which won’t come as a shock to you.
Based on our latest information, we have reason to feel the odds are now substantially against Clemson, and the Vols are very much back in play.
Hey, we’ve tried telling everyone the winds abruptly change with Green quite often.
You just cling to the chance they shift in your direction before the buzzer sounds.
One of those recruits, in one of those years."

Also Gump man bad.
Buzzer sounds today, finish filming his commitment video. Lot of kids do different endings just in case. That would be smart here, he changes his mind a lot. And yes, TN still in this one, I expect TN to be one of the multiple endings. Bass is correct, he was a silent, anyone’s guess today...

I mean, he did a commitment interview with us. I’m not guessing. But it seems that he changed his mind. Hopefully he changed his mind again

From the Clemson boards. Sounds like I wouldn't count on him until you have his signature on paper.

The wind blew again with Nyland Green..... "
Based on info collected Monday, our understanding is that the process has now been further delayed by indecision on his part as he goes back-and-forth with his choice.
At this juncture, the safest thing is to just simply say that Tennessee, Clemson and UGA all are conceivably still in the running.

This sounds like something only Rusty Mansell would know

As most of you know, this has been VERY fluid, and likely will stay that way until all is official.

As of early Tuesday morning, based on a couple of sources close to this, I am hearing a decision will be made in the next 24 hours and a call will then be made to that college staff. I do not think he is planning to call staffs at Auburn, Clemson, Georgia and Tennessee to tell them good or bad news, but from what I am hearing, he will call the school he is committing to in the next 24 hours or so.

I am hearing the plan is to start filming his commitment video later this week, the production team puts it together over the weekend, and then Green reveals his commitment very early next week.

As far as who has the most buzz RIGHT NOW — this one still is VERY fluid, and a final decision still has not been made based on my sources. But, Clemson and Georgia look to be the two battling late with Auburn and Tennessee trying to hang around. The Vols have faded, both sources say that, but that doesn't mean Tennessee couldn't be right back at the top by tonight in this race.

As of Tuesday morning, it looks like Dabo Swinney v Kirby Smart, and the two schools closest to home will battle it out late. Again, with Green's recruitment, this could still flip upside down and look completely different this time Wednesday, but a decision looks to be nearing in the next day or so, maybe even Tuesday night I am told, and a college staff should be getting that call in the next 24-36 hours.

Then, AS OF NOW, I am hearing a public commitment will be made very early next week.

I posted this on the Clemson board as well, and someone asked who my pick would be today, and here is my response:

If I had to pick RIGHT NOW, I would lean ALL SO SLIGHTLY to UGA, but it would be like 51-49 over Clemson...

If you asked me this three weeks ago, my answer would have been Tennessee with a very high confidence level.

If you asked me in early April, it would have been like 90% Clemson for me.

As you can tell, and as you know, this one has changed a lot, and it still could change more... I feel I can get good information on this, but the problem is, the information changes daily... so like Paul, I will continue to grind this one out and do the best I can to track it.

---------

I may feel Auburn or Tennessee leads tonight based on what I am hearing... This has been one of the craziest recruitments to follow in a long time for me.

Someone quoted Wiltfong’s article and said, “Sounds like a UGA/Clemson battle.”

We just keep hangin' around & hangin' around. Some of these kids are less concerned about W-L as the fans. They want to get to the league.
