You all sling words around like "obvious" and "factual" when, in fact, it is your opinion. And, since it is an opinion, why are you all so defensive when people question your opinion that is, by your definition, simply questioning the coaches? You all can question all day long. Have at it. You might even be right from time to time. But, just because the majority of posters on here trust our coaches' opinions more than yours should not be in any way surprising to you. But, here we are.

up to par this year, or in total?

If your problem is just this year you should know this is a pattern for our staff. For the '23 class they got a five star in November (Hobbs). In '22 they got three 4 star DL in November/December.

yeah, its not May, but its clear our staff can real in guys late as well, especially at the DL. we don't need to hang our heads and accept defeat because our class isn't finished before the season.

Yeah and Nasir smith is mid as they come. I’m a troll for having that opinion. 😂
Incoming usual posters, whom I like but it has to be exhausting to shoot down every negative opinion.

What does he do that makes him mid, iyo? He seems like many recruits that we get. Underrated when we recruit him…… people b&tch and criticize….. he blows up a little….. bigger schools start recruiting him….. the same people upset about taking his commitment…. Start worrying that we are going to lose him.

As usual, you don’t understand how recruiting works.

You just go by the recruiting sites and automatically think you’re an expert at this.

RG has coached in the SEC for 30+ years. You don’t think he can see talent regardless what their ranking is?

This whole narrative of yours just speaks incompetence. It makes my head hurt.

You and the others can continue crying about recruiting while the rest of us enjoy having a Top 10 class by NSD.

I'm in no way accepting defeat. Just made a simple statement that it's not up to par. Then you have Josh who attacks every post that isn't his opinions.

Rankings mean nothing once they hit the field. The key is can our staff develop him to be a productive player by year 2-3. If they can it’s a win. I have confidence in this staff being able to identify talent that they can coach up. I am ready for the season where we actually play the game on the field. GBO!

If he is a February commit maybe... if RG signs off before ESD then I am going with him and I bet he does not want to use up his allocation on mid level players. Then if you continue to sell those wares, yes you will have earned the title.

It is more than up to par, in golf lingo this year looks like an eagle, not a hole in one or a double eagle, but a heck of a performance. Got to finish the course, but we have a recent history of finishing with a flourish. Some of the preferred targets have opted for the new bucks similar to the LIV tour, but on we go. However I like your not accepting routine, I have decided to ignore the facts and claim victory over the Gamechickens last year.

IMHO, their strategy is the recruit guys that they think have a high probability of being really good... really soon. Any spot they don't fill with a guy like that will have to be replaced in the portal.

If they don't truly believe this kid has elite potential, he won't be in the class.
