'17 GA DT Aubrey Solomon (NCAA IS A FAIR ORGANIZATION)

A little good news, the adjusted guidelines only apply to cases filed after June 26th. So Solomon will be held to the original ones.

"The adjusted waiver guidelines will apply only in cases filed after the Division I Council’s approval on June 26." per the ncaa pr director.
We know the date when his was filed?

Not exactly, but when asked in late May Pruitt said it was "in the hands of the NCAA". Everyone has taken that to mean it was filed. In mid-March he was asked when they'd get an answer and he said "when we file a waiver". So I suspect it was filed any time between mid-March to late May.

The ncaa is a NP, not a corporation, but yeah 😊...
Not for profit status has nothing to do with whether or not an organization is incorporated. I have no idea what the legal organization of the NCAA is, but I suspect it is probably a corporation.

True point, though the ncaa itself is an unincorporated association. Then it has various subsidiaries which were formed as LLCs.

I saw somewhere that if the university that they are transferring from objects, it could prevent immediate eligibility. Makes sense. I would bet that Harbaugh has objected. I would think Smart did also because he has to play us.

Why does that make sense? The school they are transferring from would want to object in most cases. Is the NCAA trying to put the blame on them?

He can practice just like everyone else right? He could be cleared the day of the game and it would make no difference hypothetically
