I didn’t really look at his film in depth either until today. Wow is all I can say. You are spot on with his speed and quickness. Reached top speed really quickly. Plays through people. Can beat a blocker to the point and can also take on the blocker and disrupt. Time will tell and it’s hard to say that someone is “under ranked” as a 4 star but wow. I really think he is under ranked.

Huepel is recruiting on the level same level as Fulmer, if not better right now.

I love coach Fulmer still. He did a lot… a loooong time ago, for UT.


But he never recruited at this level simply because of how competition is in present day (which he lost to Saban; Meyer, Spurrier, etc). He would have been okay with NIL, but competing against Smart, Kelley, DeBore, Kiffin, Sark, Dabo,- like Heupel is doing- puts him in a tier below simply because of the recruiting climate.

Just my opinion, but when things started to ge crazy in 2007 he couldn’t hang with the big boys.

If we could add a Peyton Lewis/Seldon every class then I’m all for it. Our current back commit has never ran for 1k yards in a season. I’m not sure he topped 600 last year.
