To be fair I did have to read it twice before knowing what you meant.
Just curious, how does Morris fit in that metric? Is it just because he had an offer? Pretty well known that UGA never recruited him that hard and what's also known is the why and it has a lot to do with why they also didn't land Owen Pappoe. If it's just based on offers, well theres a lot more than three recruits we could start adding the score up with.Pruitt and Friend landed Morris and Wright last year. Kirby and Pittman got Ratledge this year.
Vols - 2
Dawgs - 1
It was mutual with Morris .. The Grayson connection isn't there for UGA and with Kenyatta Watson being a big influence on a lot of those kids, none of them went to UGA because he and Kirby kinda don't get along but let's leave it at that.Well Morris didn't want to go to Georgia and Wright didn't want to be to far from home so... I'm not sure your logic works here.
I would be so pissed if I were his dad. How are all these “Vol fan” families letting their kids go to rival teams?! Very discouraging.
Still believe Pruitt will turn it around in Knoxville but man, right now it’s painful.
Agreed. I’m no really worried about this class. Pruitt and co will get this roster turned around. Just sucks to see the lack of loyalty from supposed Vol families. If you don’t wanna play here, go out of conference...or at least not to a hated rival. Wtf.Will be nice to see what kind of class this coaching staff will turn out once we get out from behind the 8 ball.
why pissed? In the grand scheme of things, it's a game that affords the opportunity for kids to go to college. It's not like he's going off to prison or robbing people.I would be so pissed if I were his dad. How are all these “Vol fan” families letting their kids go to rival teams?! Very discouraging.

If a 5 star OL from TN chose UGA and he "didn't want to go to UT" would that matter to UT fans? No, it wouldn't. So why does it matter when talking about Morris and UGA? The fact is the kid didn't want to go there and Pittman couldn't change his mind. A 5 star instate kid chose elsewhere, anyway you slice it that's a loss for UGA.Well Morris didn't want to go to Georgia and Wright didn't want to be to far from home so... Pissed was probably the wrong word. Just frustrated. I can’t imagine the excitement of having a son get recruited to Tennessee...only to have them go to Georgia. I certainly am not calling for disowning then lol. I DO think Vol Fan families should raise their kids to hate our rivals...why pissed? Do you think the Vol Fan families should disown their kids for choosing to play football at another school?
Understood....I am sure he talked it over with his dad and they determined that the best way for him to get drafted was to work with Pittman. However we all know that that logic is flawed. If you have talent, you have talent. You will get noticed.Pissed was probably the wrong word. Just frustrated. He has been gone
Nail on the head there man .. and it has been like that for quite a whileI haven't seen much traction with UGA and Grayson since the new year, so hopefully no news is good news. I've only heard bits and pieces about the backstory with UGA and Grayson, and my understanding was that while much of it had to do with Watson Sr. trying to secure a quid pro quo arrangement with college programs who wanted access to Grayson recruits. With that being said, my friends and associates who are tied into UGA tell me that the issue with the UGA-Grayson relationship is much more complex than just pointing to Watson Sr.
