He's been a guy who created buzz in workouts. What happens when the pads go on next week? He has an opportunity to be at least a situational pass rusher. Needs to show his raw athleticism translates right away.
Crouch has Butuli and Reid in front of him. Harrison doesn't have the same number of bodies in front of him. AJ Johnson has been the only Freshman to start at ILB in our entire history. I'm not saying Crouch won't play, he just has a tougher road in front of him as far as established players are concerned.
He and Simmons got that dog factor, imo. It's something you can't detect until that adrenaline kicks in and suddenly they seem to be in another world. Some players maintain a cool level and go about their assignments but some get pumped and maintain that higher level even while playing their assignments. Remember Bituli stating,"vols gonna be violent this year." Need more junkyard dog types on D. Tank Mc may be one also.It won't be much of an adjustment imo.
He's the real deal.
well said......too many folks looking at numbers and stats coming out of HS and CJP an staff get deeper in the camps and are simply better evaluators than most coaches. I definitely feel this is Pruitt's strongest suit coming in. Knowing how these young men will take to being coached and now that he's got both Chaney and Ansley I think it's a lock. UT GONNA BE HARD TO DEAL WITH IN A COUPLE OF YEARS.Yup, playing NT is why he was so overlooked by most. Especially the so called recruiting services. Another win with evaluations from our staff.
The 2019 class top to bottom is awesome. It finished 11th but, I have a feeling it's going to produce like it were a mid-1990's Vol class.I have a feeling a lot of coaches are going to be kicking themselves for not recruiting Harrison. I think Elijah Simmons fits in that category too. I’m so happy we signed those two.

Quarterbacks gonna be having nightmares about this guySince this keeps getting bumped anyway... I swear he has gotten bigger looks ready! I pick RH to show out in fall camp. View attachment 215227
Think Harrison has shown the "it" factor in games. Him blocking the kick in the title game shows he can show up in big moments. And it really speaks to his credit that an LB player DT does it a high enough level to carry his team all the way to a championship. He and Simmons got that dog factor, imo. That is my uneducated guess as well. We will win a lot of games because of the Defense. The 2019 class top to bottom is awesome. It finished 11th but, I have a feeling it's going to produce like it were a mid-1990's Vol class.
Every level they got great or talented players.
Defense:
Harrison, Wiliams, Crouch, Simmons, Henry T, McCullough, Burrell
Offense:
Morris, Wright, Maurer, Browne
are all guys that will factor enormously in 2019 season.
Beasly, Gray, Kenney Soloman, Keyton, will contribute as well.
I think the defense will spearhead the turnaround for the program. This defense in 2019 is going to be a lot better than people have anticipated.
A LOT Better.
That is not a freshmanSince this keeps getting bumped anyway... I swear he has gotten bigger looks ready! I pick RH to show out in fall camp. View attachment 215227
