I know we’re high on cornerbacks for Blades, Burrel, Bush, Fields etc...

True. We need elite prospects if we’re going to compete with Ga in the east and Bama in the west. We need classes ranked closer to them than SC.

Some of these low ranked kids like Roman that we have committed are raw freak athletes. But we need elite prospects too. Hopefully we land them.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR TENNESSEE?

The Vols now have 15 commits heading into its final camp and cookout weekend before fall practice begins next week. Harrison should kickstart a nice weekend for the Vols, who hope to land 4-star cornerback Warren Burrell on Friday and host targets like Jaylen McCollough, Melvin McBride, Tyus Fields and others Saturday.

Harrison’s addition also has no impact on Tennessee’s continued desire to sign 4-star outside linebacker Khris Bogle. Although spots are filling up in the 2019 class, Bogle, along with several others, are guaranteed a chair once the recruiting music stops in February.

Said it before and I’ll say it again.... big difference between a signing like this in February vs a signing like this in July before the senior season. Staff really likes this kid and wanted him.

Welcome to the family, Roman.

agreed. he camped, he got in front of the coaches, they all seemed to have come to the same conclusion.

hard to really argue with that....well, that and 6'2", 240 that runs a 4.6, with a 39" vert..:).

He has a good senior season he will get more offers and we will stay on him to stay committed. Its a win win for both parties at this point. I'd give it 50/50 that he is part of the class come February and that's ok.
