that is pretty much their job. Butch had more stars than upside, and we see how that turned out.

Butch had a lot of "poser" 4 stars too from guys who were injured in highschool or who were 4 stars with weak offer lists and non committable offers from the big boys. Not saying that was the case in 14 or 15 as much as the next two but still, happened a lot it seems.

Pruitt has coached the most elite talent in the college game for each of the last 10 years. He knows what it looks like and what attributes his players need to have in order to field the absolute best defense in the country. He has fielded the best defense in the country multiple times.

So, if Pruitt likes a kid and thinks he can help us, who am I to judge?

6'2
252 pounds
4.6 40
39 inch vertical
410 pound bench
355 pound power clean

If those are legit numbers then this kid is on his way to being an almost Vernon Davis level freak. Stand up edge rusher with a lot of power and bad attitude like a James Harrison is what i get from him.

where you been? we miss ur posts

Generally, we want to be beating out Georgia for recruits, not Georgia Tech, but it's another big body, I'll take it. Coach'em up.

For those of you questioning how good this kid will be, just know that this is the first commit from a recruit whose thread I started, and he committed today - on the 22nd anniversary of when I enlisted in the worlds finest Navy. In other words, karma/fate/logic dictates he likely will be the best player in this class.

He wasn’t exactly working with many projects. He may know what talent looks like, but we will see if he really can turn lemons into lemonade.

I don't get why they "commit" without being committed at all. Why bother? Why not just wait?

well he wants to play in the SEC, and he had a comittable offer. secure it now.

if something better comes along, you have the option of taking it later.

i get it. i'd probably do the same thing. i don't know that i'd tell you that that's what i was doing, but yeah, that's what i'd do.:eek:lol:

Pruiit has some success in these diamonds that go on to be long time starters. He was one of the few to offer Dominick Sanders at UGA. Somehow he had a walk on at Bama become a starting CB. He won't hit on them all nobody does but he tends to hit more than not.

We have a solid foundation to now be able to really grind and wait on the big fish that won't decide until later in yr.
