Be careful, or they’ll fire back with Keith Marshall, or Nick Chubb, or whatever that punter’s name was, and blame it all on sh*tty turf and/or dirty hits.
Turf, maybe, but nothing dirty about anything with any of those injuries.

I hear ya, brother. Slodawg (or whatever the heck his username is) came with that garbage on another thread. Typical uga fan, can't differentiate between an injury caused by bad turf vs an intentional cheap shot aimed at a players knee from behind. Then, uga placing the player that made that cheap shot on the ticket for the game vs us the next year.

A lot of the Georgia guys we land eliminate Georgia early on and focus on us and someone else. Wanya (Auburn), Bailey (Michigan), C. Brown (Auburn).

I actually can't remember the last time we went head to head against Georgia for a major prospect like Mondon or Mims.

that doesn't necessarily mean that UGA didn't want the kid...i feel pretty confident in saying htey wanted Morris. Cody brown probably isn't at the top of their board, but i feel confident in saying that they'd of preferred him to stay on the market a little longer, they came on a little late for Cambell. Jalen Mcollough, iirc, was a take there. ultimately, we did get Cade Mays. :)

and though Darnell Wright wasn't a GA kid, we did beat them out for him too.

i'm not gonna get all nitpicky on this subject, because in merit, yeah, i agree, the majority of the time the past 3 years when the kid has been a ga in state player, and at the top of GA's and our board, they've won more of those. and mims/mondon would be typical of that description.....

but, it's gotta start somewhere. just like with Dylan Brooks....or Lewis.....can't land 'em all till you land the 1st one. :)

I think he meant as in, Us and GA as the last two for a recruit

either way. like i said at the end, in merit, i agree. i just don't think it's as simple as "we never beat UGA head to head"....we have beaten them on the trail....but i understand what he, and you, are getting at.

They came after Hyatt at the end of the cycle last year as well. Negative recruited against us trying to get him not to early sign and he turned them down real quick

I think that play is the reason he wasn’t an all American. His get off as a freshman was amazing. I think his nfl success is a sign that he’s just now recovered from that injury.

While 5-star linebacker Small Mondon is heavily entrenched with Georgia and Auburn, Tennessee continues to be heavily in the mix there — especially by the efforts of lead recruiter Brian Niedermeyer. Mondon is set to make a decision sometime next month, so the Vols have some more time to continue to work the Peach State native.
