The obtuse, “who me?” replies to fan blowback only adds to the length of the douche nozzles. Neither is funny but they make up for it with preening superior attitudes. The other mods keep me subscribing to VQ. Ubben is the lone reason I haven’t given the Athletic a chance.

Out of boredom, I went through and read all the Instagram Q&A comments. He mentioned at one point that achieving goals outside of football was important to him. When asked what he liked about Tennessee he said he likes the coaches AND how UT can help him achieve goals outside of football. When talking about what he liked about literally every other school he'd say either just "the coaches" or like one other time (I think he was talking about Auburn) he said "nice campus and the coaches".

Might not be significant in anyway... But through my orange tinted glasses, that seems pretty good.

No. Would be a waste. Put him on slot receivers, TE's, RBs on pass plays and run stopper to help set the edge.

Early on people complained about him taking shots at us, but when he started with VQ, we were towards the end of the CBJ era, and the shots seemed justified to me because we were a complete train wreck. He does decent work, and I still think he tends to make some good points even with the douchey delivery. Now that we’re turning the corner though, and he continues to poke and prod, it has started to get really annoying. It’s like he can’t help himself, and I think he is legitimately bothered that we’re starting to look like a threat to contend for the East.

I have not subscribed but it baffles me why they keep him. I'm not going to hope someone gets fired but the dude seriously needs to remember whose subscription money pays his salary.
