The assumption by some is 6/4. Not sure if that has been confirmed though and he 'liked' a twitter comment that said his short video didn't say what date, just 6/ /20. Tifwiw

I think the 4 was just a coincidence, but I wouldn't be surprised if he comes out with another video before he announces his commitment. He seems to like doing the "secret" videos.

i tend to agree. the other thing though that still has to be in play is when/if these guys can go on visits. several of these kids haven't been to TN on an OV. a few have never visited at all. so it's still important to get them on campus. especially if they can make it on UOV's while other prospects are in town.

cause i'd be hard pressed to believe that several of these kids won't visit other programs once they're able to.....

i don't have any delusions here. if campus visits come back in to play, several are gonna go on them.

but again, that goes both ways.....i would be surprised ifw e didn't get a visit or two from some committed prospects along the way too.

just enjoying the ride. hopefully we can get things somewhat back to normal relatively soon......

This kid is clearly a top tier recruit but he is already doing stuff like this to promote a brand and has stated he wants a clothing line and other things. No other university brands better than us and has a fanbase who can help promote an image.

Just last week, 5-star linebacker Smael Mondon of Dallas (Ga.) Paulding County told 247Sports he planned to announce his commitment sometime in June. But now, he isn’t 100 percent sure about that.

“That may be the plan, but it might be later,” Mondon said Monday. “Right now, June is the plan. But I posted that before the dead period got extended until June 30 so I don’t know.”
