'20 GA QB Harrison Bailey (UT SIGNEE)

Marietta is going to have another really good QB after Bailey. Tyler Hughes led the 8th grade team to the GMSAA championship game this year. He threw 5 TDs in the JV spring game the other day and then threw one in the Varsity game when he came in for Bailey. He looks really good.

Lol...where did I say he was? I bet you were one of those saying that Taulia Tagovailoa wasn't going to go there either, right. After all, no way he goes there after Tyson committed.

I didn't say you said anything. I was stating an opinion. Check my posts, I rarely spoke of Taulia. When I did, I predicted him to bama the whole time. Some people got their hopes up with him. You don't move across the country (bama) with his family's circumstances and not continue the tradition of going to the same school as your older brother.

Like I said before, Bailey isn't going to bama. :hi:

Video interview with Austin Price of VQ. Confident young man that sounds like a future Vol to me...

Needs to practice interviewing. Doesn’t always answer the question being asked. He’s just a sophomore but he’s going to be inundated with these sessions.

He definitely needs a public speaking class. Doesn’t speak well and did not sound very intelligent.

Good grief people. He clearly was thinking of what to say to make sure he didn't slip up. Kids try not give away info. Has nothing to do with intelligent. Gtfo with that garbage

It’ll get easier if he stays the same. Budding Nuke LaLoosh.

On a barely related note, when did modern preachers start defaulting to the magical "3 points" for a sermon? What if the text has 2 or, heaven forbid, 5 points!? I don't see Jesus nor Paul limiting themselves to this format (and don't get me started on alliteration!!).

My heart, all of a sudden, feels strangely warmed...

If the text has 5 points, you can forget about beating the Methodists to lunch at O'Charleys.

“They’re definitely not satisfied with what they have or whatever, but they’re definitely looking to improve. They’ve just got a great coaching staff,” said Bailey. “That’s the only thing I didn’t like about Tennessee when Coach Butch was there, was the coaches. So they got some new coaches in there, and I like how (offensive coordinator Tyson) Helton’s going to run the pro-style offense in the SEC.” Contrasting his latest trip to Tennessee with his previous visits there, Bailey said, “They were more happy to see me and just showed that they cared.”

“I feel that the coaches they brought in — which was, like, a wide variety from different places — I feel like they can come together as one and win a national championship,” Bailey said. “I think it could definitely happen, especially recruiting Georgia pretty well and the nearby states. They’re strong. They’re going to be hard to beat.”

“I like the way they use the tight ends,” Bailey said. “It looked like in practice they used two tight ends a lot — which, tight end’s a big target. You can just be so much (more) versatile when you have two tight ends, because tight ends can block really good. "I guess that stood out, and the fact that they threw the ball probably, like, 90 percent of practice. Throwing the ball, I mean, that’s all we do in high school, and it’ll translate over to Tennessee pretty well.”

“Ramel’s my dog, so him going there definitely will have you thinking, especially with the relationship we have,” Bailey said. “I guess we’ll see.” “Probably by the end of my junior season, I’ll probably go on and make my decision,” he said. “If it hits me, then I’ll commit.”

Bailey plans to visit UT, Michigan, OSU, Clemson, UGA and maybe FSU this summer.
