If I remember correctly, the coaches said Stewart made the wrong reads on nearly every play in his first appearance, which got him pulled for Peyton.

Brett Favre averaged 20 carries and 92 rushing yards a season and rushed for total 14 td's. Peyton Averaged 25 carries and 40 yards for 18 total TD's. the difference is not that big. Was Favre More mobile? yes but they were not that different in results and neither was a dual threat by any stretch of the imagination. Peyton was actually a lot more mobile than people give him credit for. Hyperbole is your enemy.

Yes, he did. He was amazing to watch. So was Peyton for totally different reasons. Why can't QBs be great for different reasons? Sounds like the recruiting analyst iver emphasize scrambling ability now.

A few schools have tried to keep in contact with Bailey. He said that he has been pushing them away, but did confirm that there has been contact with Georgia Tech.

Imo two QBs tells me this staff expects Jg will go pro if he has great yr. he has already graduated. They expect him to have a good yr. they also probably feel like a good chance Shrout doesn’t stick around long run. So you could potentially be down to Maurer and this why 2 QBs is critical

-- if we lost him to GT while Pruitt is here, we'd have some serious problems to contend with... No worries... I am feeling better about recruiting as the summer months pass... still pisses me off how GA, SC, and AL are still heavily negative recruiting us... I know they are scared of Pruitt, but damn... I also think more coaches are shadow recruiting our staff than we think... they know Pruitt can spot talent and I hope they don't keep waiting in the weeds to pounce like last cycle...

He has a very good chance at making an NFL roster IMO. Question is whether he can be a starter. I see him more like a backup QB in the NFL. But I think he'd make an almost ideal backup; he's not always spectacular, but he rarely makes big mistakes.

Ya'll remember what happened to Derek Carr when Houston drafted him? Poor guy got so pummeled he'd just take a phantom sack if a fan sneezed. JG got killed last year and took it like a man. He has never had particularly good coaching or a run game to rely on (that part's crucial because DC's could send LB blitzes like crazy). I think he has everything needed to play in the league, but his OC, OL, and RB's have to do a lot more this year.

JG has to be able to feel the pressure or get rid of the ball quicker imo. But he has all the arm talent you could ask for.
