'20 GA QB Harrison Bailey (UT SIGNEE)

You did give your reasons, so respect for that.
I'll give my honest take. I think if you remove their rumors and your speculation, your post would be very short.
I was told by Butchna that it’s frowned upon to not give the info you have. I assume that includes opinions given the fact that even rivals/247 is all just a bunch of opinions that create the rank to begin with.

Strawmen not needed. I just implied that's the largest subject matter so I'm not worried.

As anyone can see on his highlights alone he has very good ball placement skills deep downfield. Short and intermediate passes are not always as accurate as you’d expect.
He tends to trust his ball placement deep and often throws into dbl/triple coverage. My opinion is he would have many more ints had Keaton not been an elite talent at adjusting and going up for contested catches (which is why I’m critical of Keaton on the 2nd int in the SG).
It’s no secret he’s immobile but he works a clean pocket well. He keeps his eyes downfield but seems to either pick his receivers presnap or he’s a little slower through his reads once option 1 isn’t there. It tends to make me wonder how he would do if every receiver on the field had similar skill sets like our group we have now.
If our o line can give him 3.5+ seconds he’ll pick any defense apart if he learns to just take what they give you. 3 seconds or less and he’s likely eating a sack snack.
His long toss was 58 yards at the elite 11. Well below the elite arm strength I personally expected. Although short and intermediate have plenty of zip on them.
I’ve heard from multiple sources now that he’s not the most liked person on his teams. I take that with a grain of salt in most cases but I’ve also heard from a trusted source that he was very critical of the skill sets of JG, JT and BM at the spring game so to me it fits in the category of “where there’s smoke there’s fire”.
I put it all together and I think UT has an extremely talented qb room when he arrives. Possibly the best in the SEC. Although I’m not sold he walks on as the most talented or the best option at the moment, I think he’s a very good qb as a whole and we’ll be happy to have him.

Ok. Gotcha..... and understood. I’ll post what I personally witnessed of HB given that explanation. I just don’t want people to think I’m “against” him or, like Charger assumes, give the impression of a biased opinion due to another qb on our roster. It’ll be up soon as a random post.
Ultimately who cares? As long as you don’t condescend. Putting out your view is fine as long as you don’t act like disagreeing is an act of cluelessness. You haven’t done that as far as I’ve seen.

Keep info if you don’t want it out there, just don’t tease it or build a point around something you won’t divulge...#blowback.

I really didn’t care about giving info. I just don’t want a bad rep on here because someone doesn’t like what I wrote about a player they believe to be otherwise.

Part and parcel of this board. No place for the timid. Bad rep is temporary...no rep is irrelevant.

It's a joke. We sort of look down on the FF posters. There are reasonable posters over there and there are nutjob posters over here, but we like to make fun of the FF.

He’s read so many posts in his extensive time on the board he forgot about the RF and FF guys not seeing eye too eye so you know the joke went over his head....

No one ever said you or anyone else had to agree with anything I’ve ever said. But when you have to “pluck” words from a statement to create an issue it’s obvious that there was nothing in said statement that you could argue. Guess what.... I just posted another comment in a conversation you weren’t involved in that you can use against me as well. Look for “he is god”.

Agree or disagree I still stand by what I’ve said before. I’ve learned to respect ChargerVol and yourself. But I won’t be a doormat either.

You haven’t said anything that’s the point. Then you say the kids ranking dropped because of guys he may or may not play with 😂, so if he commits to a team with a good offensive line will his rating go up? Give me a break and just cut the bull already.

Dude.... Really? First of all I went ahead and posted what I personally witnessed, offered a few opinions and it’s been squashed. Now here you go piping up to get it going again? What do you want? Comparisons to our other qbs or something?
Second I think you need to pay better attention to what you read. I said “it’s a POSSIBILITY” that COULD be a reason for his drop. Never said it WAS. HB is a prototype pocket passer. He was ranked inside the top 100 before committing to a school with a known problem at o line. These services get paid for accuracy on a system designed to indicate PRO POTENTIAL and you think that doesn’t play a part? Listen to yourself.

Well, thanks for sticking it out and giving us your opinion.

You literally reiterated opinions posted by professionals who evaluated him at a camp and then stated he would have thrown more then 6 interceptions if not for a single receiver, but he has never turned the ball over a lot. As a junior he threw for 2800 yds and 6 interceptions.

Also, players aren’t rated on how the line they might play for is going and is the most idiotic thing I’ve ever seen.F8E604CF-E33F-4923-9682-B09416766549.jpeg
