'20 GA QB Harrison Bailey (UT SIGNEE)

You literally reiterated opinions posted by professionals who evaluated him at a camp and then stated he would have thrown more then 6 interceptions if not for a single receiver, but he has never turned the ball over a lot. As a junior he threw for 2900 yds and 6 interceptions. Also, players arenā€™t rated on how the line they might play for is going and is the most idiotic thing Iā€™ve ever seen.
Tough to reiterate something youā€™ve never read would you agree? So Iā€™ll take that as a compliment that you believe my evaluation of him was professional. In other words they see the same things I did. Although, Itā€™s well known that I donā€™t like the recruiting services nor do I trust them so why would I ever read one of their evaluations of him? Iā€™ll trust my own.

And Iā€™m not here to convince you what to believe of why his rank dropped. I offered a possible opinion. If you believe an o line has nothing to do with a qbs possible success then you keep on believing what you wish. I on the other hand will stick to reality.

It would be best to get rid of the recruiting sites/rankings BS and let coaches recruit the players that they think would work best in the system they like to run.

We all know Bailey is a great QB.

Just because heā€™s not ā€œmobile enoughā€, doesnā€™t mean it makes him any less of a high school QB than one thatā€™s ranked higher on Rivals, 247, ESPN, whatever it might be.

Recruiting rankings is firmly based on schools these kids are committed too. Itā€™s obvious Bama is the exception.

Here's a full game against Grayson, a great high school with tough competition. Y'all can watch this and see if he is immobile and has bad footwork.

At 33:47 his pocket collapses from Grayson blitzing 4 guys and he tucks & runs for what looks like 7/8 yards. Completely ridiculous for others to think he is completely immobile, so silly. I did see him miss a few basic throws when he had no pressure, no doubt Chaney will fix that though.

Besides, "I know but I can't tell", isn't exactly debate worthy. Bailey's stats against good competition, speak for themselves.
I got a bigger kick out of seeing Burton "liking" his posts.
"So you're not actually saying anything but alluding to negativity, now that's my kind of post!" šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ Good ol Jack.

He received likes because he was trying to engage the topic of the rankings drops rather than making ad hominems or just chalking it to a conspiracy against the Vols.

Thatā€™s a big issue around VN. If the topic isnā€™t something we like weā€™d rather attack the messenger than engage the topic.

You can go even further back and see where I was excited to get the committ of HB the first blue chip QB weā€™ve had in a long time, but that doesnā€™t fit the ā€œnegativeā€ narrative.

Definitely a mob mentality sometimes against anything even slightly critical lol. Like I said, this place would pelt Santa Claus if he said the wrong thing. I thought 1vol was trying to be as nice as he could be about it.
