It’s funny how some people on here will take a single word written in sarcasm and use it against you to create an issue bigger than it had to be but yet still there are some that can read an entire message and miss what was said completely. Let me refresh the point that you’re referring to. I said it’s a possibility that actually makes sense. Read the thread recently and you’ll see a bunch of people wondering why he’s dropping while performing well. So before attacking a comment you clearly didn’t understand which was a part of a conversation you were not involved in btw ask yourself if you can guarantee that it’s not a possibility.

Just remembered who 1vol is. His first 200-300 posts were all about how good Maurer is, ALL of them. Used to get very defensive when someone said they thought HB would be better.
I always thought that he was related or at least knew the Maurer family, but, he says he doesn't/isn't. Either way, he is a hardcore BM fan.
Always respected his passion for Brian but it's my opinion that his takes on Bailey aren't gonna be exactly, "unbiased".

The writing reminded me of a bad night I once had while totally fuzzed from exhaustion after working extremely hard for a long stretch from sun up to sun down. But no, I said one dumb thing on that night. We could be witnessing a permanent roll.

Not true. I have watched them both as I am from central Florida but now am in the Atlanta area. I am a BM fan. That much is true but I don’t get defensive at all. At first I defended actual facts vs uneducated opinions in regards to BM which formed your opinion that I was heavily invested. And the first 2-300 post (you claim) being on the BM thread or related who else was I supposed to talk about? My opinion of HB has nothing to do with BM. In fact most of my posts in regards to HB have been positive in nature and without comparison. What started this whole issue was a direct question of Volgrad asking someone’s opinion of HB that has watched him live to either confirm or discredit the negative evaluations of other people (which I assume were live people, not on VN given the nature of his post). From that point it’s been nothing but people over reacting to the fact that I eluded to possible reasons for his drop (a heavily asked question on here) and the fact that it wasn’t another “he is god” vote of confidence. It was neutral. Simply put.... I’m trying to get along with VN but some people make it hard when all you try to do is tell someone something they didn’t know about a player and it’s actually THEM that get defensive when you say something they didn’t want hear.

No one ever said you or anyone else had to agree with anything I’ve ever said. But when you have to “pluck” words from a statement to create an issue it’s obvious that there was nothing in said statement that you could argue. Guess what.... I just posted another comment in a conversation you weren’t involved in that you can use against me as well. Look for “he is god”.

Agree or disagree I still stand by what I’ve said before. I’ve learned to respect ChargerVol and yourself. But I won’t be a doormat either.

I’ve watched him but I keep criticisms to a minimum 1 because our fan base has embraced him. And 2 he’s a Vol. I live just outside of Atlanta so Merietta isn’t a long drive if you like HS football. The kid is good so relax Bailey fans. Although my opinion is I think the fan base is setting themselves up for disappointment with their own expectations of him. If you read these boards you’d think most believe he’s UTs savior. I’m more than willing to give an opinion on his game but don’t look forward to the backlash. For now let’s just say I understand the drop for many reasons and some beyond his control.

I really hope Rivals bumps him to a 5 star like they mentioned just to show the stupidity. This is like the reverse of Trey Smith. 247 had him top 20 and Rivals had him a low 4 star.

How and why did they drop HB? Honestly I'm seriously questioning there is a legit correlation between UT commits and ranking drops. They even dropped Keyshawn Lawrence.

fwiw KL didn't get dropped. 3 people jumped him. They said his camp outings validated his high ranking to them.

247 had their own rankings, so whatever the E11 ranked, or didn't (not that it is public anyway) isn't applicable. 247 was there, had their own ranking, and posted it. Bailey was ranked 12th out of the ~22 QBs there.
