'20 GA QB Harrison Bailey (UT SIGNEE)

y'all are killin' me. if you think anything we have on campus is better, you're nuts. theyd be starting. its gonna be a long year with him and an absolutely brutal year if we have to start a frosh.

Yeah....Worely was so much better than Dobbs. Butch was spot on.

Sims was so much better than Bray!

Not sure how Bama and Clemson both won national championships with Freshman QBs.
And then Auburn last week against. It's just not possible!

If I was bailey why decomitt when I know I’m gonna come in here and take qb1 spot if he stays cuz I don’t see guarantano goin to the nfl 🤷🏾‍♂️ He ain’t ready

If Harrison comes here, he won't beat out GuaranTANo.

Pruitt is too dumb to play him.

Butch was an idiot so was Dooley. If you can't see the difference between Trevor Lawrence, Tua, and Bo nix vs our freshman then idk what to tell you.

You've not seen them play a college game yet. So how would you know to tell me anything????

Come on dude.

I watched Maurer and Shrout play in the spring game. They aren't on Tua or Lawrence's level. Bailey will have a chance to be but I don't think he is either. Both of those guys are elite. Maurer and Shrout could both end up being good QBs and I think Maurer will. But they aren't elite or they would be starting.

If they’re decent and give the offense a little fire they’re better than what we have currently.

We just need average and capable Qb play vs. BYU. JG cannot provide this. Give JG a couple of series to start and if he cannot make routine throws or decisions early, yank him and let the Stout and Maurer fight it out.

JG is not a bad quarterback, but he's like the soldiers in the first 30 minutes of Saving Private Ryan: just totally shellshocked. He's been knocked on his ass every other snap for three years and its majorly affected the clock in his brain. it feels beyond repair at this point. having a new O coordinator every year only makes it worse. the sad part is, had he gone to a team with even just competent line play during his career who knows what the ceiling would be. its clear he can't consistently be the guy, but i do feel bad for him in a way. its hard to believe he knew what he was signing up for.

You can tell he’s worried about getting killed every time he drops back.

I think you nailed it with JG. Last year has really took it's toll on him. I think it's a situation very similar to Crompton. He was brought in against LSU and got rocked a few times. It stuck with him a few years.

I have no sympathy for him.kid doesn’t even read a defense before he snaps the ball.if he did his protection changes would be there or changing the play in general would probably help a lot.this Oline maybe bad but if a blitz is coming, the Oline can only hold for so long.other teams literally load the box because they know he won’t throw past the 10 yard marker.we have no balance in our play calling because he won’t throw down field nor does he really scramble out of a collapsing pocket to extend the play.

that's a shame. i really feel that he, as much as as anyone that's passed through tennessee's football program in the last decade, deserves it.

How could anyone see the difference? They never get to play, JG and squads suck fest keep them off the field even in games they should get mop up duty, he’s killing the program now and stunting it’s growth going forward
