If you think JG is the only problem on this offense you're not paying attention. I never said Shrout or Maurer was not any good. But if they were they would be starting.

I can assure I am under no delusion thatbJG is the only problem, never said that... but he is a glaring one that has to be addressed. How bad can the others be compared to the crap product that JG brings????

Worst case scenario they can’t run, can only throw 3 yard passes, can’t pick up on a blitz, miss wide open receivers and slide short of the first down...

If they do all those things then we are breaking even

And if the defense even plays half way as good as an sec defense we still win the game! JG is not the answer for us, I agree with you on that but we could have won that game even though he didn't play well. JG is starting because he is the best option. That means Shrout and Maurer are having worse problems then him. Unless you're in the camp that believes (not saying you are) Pruitt is here to sabotage us. Which is the dumbest thing I've ever heard btw.

I don’t believe he is here to sabotage by any means. I tend to lean towards he was really hoping JG’s game time experience would be enough to limp through a decent season this year while developing the other QB’s at a more normal pace and in time for his recruits to start filling the roster.
I think that plan blew up in his face in historic fashion. If it had worked he’d be a genius, but boy it sure didn’t.

I don't think they game planned very much for Ga St at all. I agree, I think they believed talent alone would've been enough. That's the only thing that makes sense with all of the missed alignments and substitution errors.

Wish our QB had that kind of will.... doesn’t look like we will see a Freshman either so.... we will get to see the same QB play we did against Georgia State.... a guy who doesn’t want to put himself on the line to win a game.
