Tennessee produces a lot more talent than Oregon. And Tennessee is situated within close proximity to a ton of talent. Between those two schools geography by far favors Tennessee in recruiting over Oregon.

We all know recruiting at the top levels in National, not geographic. Oregon has more Tx recruits than Tenn and Oregon actually has a few recruits from Tenn. The Geography thing is old school.

I know a lot don’t care for Dave Hooker but he and Caleb Calhoun were discussing why Shady decommitted. And it’s something I really didn’t consider. Mind you this is major speculation. But could it be that Banks is getting a head coaching job and has already informed Heupel and Shady got word of it?

Compared to where they were, yes, they've been tearing it up on the recruiting trail. They're still trying to flip Soloman Thomas and Jaime Ffrench. They're pursuing Hayward and probably a couple of more. We still have a few targets ourselves, but it's not beyond possibility that they pass us. And you can go on and on about how there's not much difference between 6-12, but the real problem is they're stealing guys from us. That's a problem.

We are getting ready to play in the 1st annual 12 team College Football Playoff, while Florida will be getting ready to play in the Citrus Bowl, Gator Bowl or the ReliaQuest Bowl, with the players who don't opt-out of the game .... but if you want to kiss their butts? That's fine.

.... and I'm glad that Billy Napier has survived to coach another year. He will never take them to the College Football Playoff. He will only ever win just enough to keep from getting fired every year. That is exactly the type of coach a Tennessee fan should want Florida to have.

Why don’t we wait till signing day and portal season is over to see if this was a NET loss. Fit is a factor. Retention probability is NOW a bigger factor than signing. Maturity as well as base character are becoming key factors after establishing ability and ceiling in our new transient landscape.

Can’t celebrate on signing days anymore, only on season ending evaluations.

Florida is going to be scary. They will have a lot of energy going into next year and Lagway is the real deal.

I don't see it. The are on the upswing from where they started the year. I would hardly call Lagway the "real deal" however. He has been solid in most of his games, but unspectacular. He looked completely lost vs our defense aside from the final 4th Q drive. And that was only made possible because of our terrible special teams play that got them inside the 40 yard line off the punt.

The bad part about that is generally you’ve got someone looking out for themselves instead of the recruit. Florida makes some crazy offers sometimes, greases the right hand then doesn’t follow through on their financial promises. Kid is naive AF if that’s where he lands. Idk if we have the best offer but I do know he will get what’s been promised to him with Spyre if he comes here.

Someone needs to tell Spyre/Staff to remind this kid what happened to Rashada. Florida has written checks they can't cash. They're even more desperate now than before. They're moving commas and adding zeros until they see what sticks.

More money doesn't mean it's better. From my understanding, Spyre has set up the gold standard for NIL. How payments are handled, tax/legal advising, etc. It's not just money, it's also guidance in how to manage it long-term. Not to mention a higher number from Florida may not be the same take-home because of state taxes.

Florida AD has multiple issues on his hands. From the allegations regarding the former women's coach to Golden to Napier sucking. The AD is liable to get fired in the next 3 years. The new AD will have a short leash for Napier.

Lagway is pulling the class up for Billy. When you get a perceived great QB on the field, it gets a lot of folks interested. If Lagway went out there this year and laid an egg, then Billy would have been in trouble.
