Highly doubt we see Clemson be terrible this year. And think about what you said. They were terrible yet went 10-3. I don’t see Pitt and NC St getting lucky again and beating them. Hate to say it but I think Clemson wins the ACC and gets into the playoffs.

I agree because of strength of conference they won’t be “terrible” but neither Pitt nor NC state got lucky and beat them. They were both really good teams who flat out beat them.

They got lucky in the sense of they caught Clemson on a “down” year. Pitt wasn’t a “really good” team. They were good. NC State? Same. Flat out beat them? NCST won by 6 in 2 OTs. Pitt win by 10. Neither game was just a flat out dominating win.

Lol sure. They only won 2 national titles the last 6 years...both over Bama...played for a couple other titles. Won 10 games last year. And yet you think they win 4 OOC games and only 1 SEC game?! Even though they only lost to the national champions by 7 points (UGA's 2nd closest game all season) and wiped USCjr 30-0?? Lmfao. What a joke.

The same SEC superiority complex that had people thinking there was NO way we'd lose to WVU or BYU lol. People overestimate this conference. It's #1, but it's very far from perfect.

I'd wager that Ole Miss might have beaten them last year, obviously Pitt did beat them. Not sure if any others. Clemson was a solid but not good team though, just had a weak schedule.

Have to take into consideration how playing a tough schedule takes it toll on a team especially in football. You have to bring your best game every week not just 2 or 3 times a season. Being in a weak conference means you don’t have to do that. So you can’t technically compare the outcomes even using common opponents. The way Clemson played last year would have resulted in more losses in the SEC than they ended up with in the ACC.
