'24 GA WR Mike Matthews (Tennessee)

Never fail to get a “Go Vols!” in a store or someone honking when they see the Power T on my truck.

got one in the hotel lobby in Minneapolis the other day because my of my work id lanyard. that's it. no shirt, hat or sticker. just a lanyard, and this other TN fan eagle eyed it from the other side of the room "go vols"....turned around and said "that's right". the other people in the lobby were a little freaked out. i didn't mind, they don't know.

I ran into a guy the other day at a North Carolina car wash…. He is not from Tennessee but been a Vols fan all his life…. Invited me to tailgate with him during football season…. He had UT stickers on the back of his vehicle.

i live in NC, plenty of us here, hell that could have been me, if i wasn't in Minneapolis this week lol.

i got a go vols from a guy at podunk gas station in the middle of utah earlier this year, wearing my hat. looked at the dude and said "honestly, this is the one place i would have bet on never getting one of those" he just laughed and said "we're everywhere".

and you know, he's right.

Wholeheartedly disagree on the every position except WR. Kirby has had waaay more talent to work with and honestly Hooker was better than Stetson (pretty much everyone would agree with that). Tough to say who develops better when we’re just now going into Year 3 with Heupel and development definitely seems to be happening. As we continue to close the gap in talent then we’ll be able to better analyze who develops what better. Garner is one of if not the top DLine coach in college football and has the track record. We’re just now starting to get the caliber players there that UGA gets.

Exactly. Georgia does not develop the QB position as well as Tennessee. And that’s the most important position on the field.

Man they saying Matthews is going to be another Heisman like Bush.

They just now had Addison go in round 1.

You all don't know what they have to sell out here.

Y'all thinking of cost of living and all that crap, these kids are being set to live like kings in Los Angeles with a top notch education. Then they go wherever they want.

Look, I've went to college in Tennessee, Texas, and California. I'm telling you all it's different out here.

If Tennessee holds on to Matthews then I'd be super shocked.
I'm being facetious about Boo Carter ( i have no inkling regardless UM or UT) but when it comes to USC and who they recruit....when they really want someone they'll get them more times than not.

For a kid that doesn’t have to pay for housing, meals, or transportation, and also gets a stipend and NIL, Los Angeles is awesome. You’re taking out the biggest financial deterrents and giving the kid great weather, a big city, a program on the rise, a coach who has been successful, and a scheme that fits the player. It’s not a great city for the average American, but a kid without taxes or expenses can live large in LA.

They don’t have anything to offer that we can’t, other than the beach obviously. Both schools have a good qb, good offense, team on the up. Only thing that LA has that Knoxville doesn’t is the smog, crime, bad politics and traffic. USC isn’t located in Manhattan Beach!

And Williams should be gone after this coming year.
