Bc AP, Hubbs, Cain, McKee, Dowden, Bannerman, and myself don't do predictions anymore. Callahan won't spoil a kid's moment if he doesn't want it spoiled. Clemson insiders probably think they're getting the entire 2024 class so nice combo for MikeIf Tennessee is in such good shape here ,,, Why don't we have any CB picks on 247? I mean ... he doesn't have any at all. So maybe it's not a big deal.
So do you think the timeline is accurate or is it just trying to give the kid his momentBc AP, Hubbs, Cain, McKee, Dowden, Bannerman, and myself don't do predictions anymore. I’m optimistic about Joe, I’d just like to see him use his freak size/ability and run over folks. To my untrained eye, he looks unsure of himself running sometimes. Like bro, you are huge and athletic af, lay him out!
I will say we were lucky to turn so many drives into TDs vs FGs. we had 5 3 & outs. There were 3 others where we didn't pick up a second first down. 8 of our 13 drives didn't go anywhere. of those 8 the longest drive was 17 yards. There was no in between, we either did nothing, or got a TD until the end of the game.
We HAVE to be more efficient with our drives, or at least be able to generate more even if we punt, unless we can count on our D consistently forcing FGs vs TDs in the SEC.
A decision is likely for Mike Matthews this summer. July is when the elite playmaker in Georgia could make his decision. The five-star wide receiver had a busy month of June with official visits to Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State and Tennessee. The Vols have been, and are, viewed as the frontrunner to land Matthews. He likes the offense, he has a good connection with Kelsey Popeand he sees a great opportunity in Knoxville. Some feel this one is done. I am not there yet, but Tennessee is in the best position.
