As excited as that makes me.. I’m a little nervous considering not many others have him locked in to UT per se. Even Wiltfong hinted he would give Crystal Balls this week for some WRs to UT. He hasn’t given any yet. Starting to freak me out a little bit. But to be fair, I’ve seen your profile and you seem legit so I’m buying in.

Nothing is ‘done done,’ but everything we continue to hear is good for the Vols. He had a phenomenal weekend in Knoxville and Tennessee really impressed the parents. This is another mid to late July decision.

Who the crap needs multiple first downs when you're scoring in 1, 2, 3, or 4 plays?

Do you get extra points for multiple 1st downs?

Give me the maximum points per possession. The rest is fluff.

This isn't the 1960s trying to pump out 3 yard runs and drudge our way down the field with 42 first downs per game.

wow you guys really don't have an argument because that's not what I am arguing. never said it was about the number of plays, but the efficiencies of drives.

we had fewer 3 and outs against Georgia, 1. We only had three drives total not get a second first down against the best defense in the nation. To say there is no drop off from Hooker to Milton is complete bs.

Even Pitt, another game where we consider ourselves to have struggled offensively we only had 4 three and outs, and only 6 drives that didn't get to a second first down.

if you apply a consistent view of the season I don't see how anyone can say that Clemson was such a great offensive game, when those other two games where our offense "let us down" were objectively better.

think about how Georgia is going to be able to play against Milton vs how they did against Hooker. I don't know what to tell you guys, but ball control is part of offense, they aren't scoring points when they are sitting on the side line after not being able to get 10 yards.

Our offense can get better, this is one of the ways it can happen.

Not to be too contrarian, but I think Clemson is probably fine trading those 4 for Sammy Brown, Bryant Wesco, and TJ Moore. I'm glad we are winning some of these battles with them, currently, but they are getting plenty of who they want. Staley isn't even a take for them, now, apparently.
