'25 GA WR Travis Smith (Tennessee)

I’d see if I could get PLew in space on a screen and put his 10.6 100m speed to use. Ross could get a few of Josephs snaps, he’s good against the run and pedestrian in pass rush IMO.
I’m not reducing any of Joseph’s reps unless they feel he’s being overworked. He’s been playing great!

Squirrel had 500 yards his freshman year

Callaway housed punt returns his freshman year

Malone and Hyatt played as freshman, but only like 200 yards.

That’s all I can think. Not many big plays though.
Justin Hunter, Da’rick, Pig, Jauan Jennings made some nice plays. Preston Williams flashed a few times. As far as recent history goes.

I wouldn’t use the word refuse, but he’s a little biased towards upperclassmen. Peyton Lewis and Jordan Ross are others who need more reps, Nico could’ve used more reps last season also. D Samp should’ve played over Jabari Small more as well.
How many pass pro attempts have you seen D Samp whiff compared to Small? Idk why it needs to be repeated so often

There’s more to playing RB than running the ball

Blocking is the hard part of being a running back and takes time.

Oh really? Name every big play made by every true freshman in Tennessee history
Carl Pickens played on both sides his freshman season. IIRC Willie Gault took a bomb to the house in his first game against Oregon State. How many drops have we had by veterans this year?

Not sure why you just assume he’d leave? Doom and gloom doesn’t have to be the default setting. It is entirely possible he understands why he hasn’t gotten more snaps to this point and the staff has been open with him.
Because with the automatic transfer rules and the limited time you have to manufacture your brand transferring makes sense these days. Our two kids that went to Arkansas are on the field displaying their talents and not sitting on the bench at UT. It is not about school or program loyalty anymore, but exposure. Who cares about the school when you have an opportunity somewhere else that can earn you million dollar paychecks in the future? This is not your father’s college football.

And other than a ring, what are these kids getting for sitting on the bench at championship programs? Nothing. Our scubs are not even getting a ring.

WR's going foward are in the process of learning that you need to get in the boat earlier now if you want to play for the Vols. Only so many spots.
