Taking off that idiot Morgan's head with a clothesline was excellent. That's old school style defense of a teammate.

I just saw that highlight. Nyjer Morgan got one half-ass left jab in first.

I fully agree, Heebs. he bothers me. I wish there had been a taker at the deadline. Bernadina in CF is fine with me.

There should be a standing throw to hit order from every manager in the National League targeting Morgan until he's suspended. He's a poor man's Milton Bradley. Time for people to put him in his place.

Gaby looked like John Bradshaw Layfield with that clothesline. :clapping:

Eh, after seeing it, it was a pretty weak clothesline.

And the Marlins are really mad that Morgan is stealing after they hit him twice? Really? That's some weak sauce right there. Marlins acting like little girls if that's the case.

You put me on, I'm running if I've got the wheels. Every time.

Yeah, running down 11 to pimp your stats the night after you injure a member of the opposition with an idiotic play and less than a week after you take a shot so cheap your manager apologizes for it and calls you unprofessional makes you the victim. Morgan is trash. Pure and simple. The only mistake the Marlins made tonight was showing Morgan the courtesy of throwing at waist level. Back when the game was played properly, those shots would have been coming in above neck level.

So you saying that just because your team is down 11 in the 4th you should just pack your bags and call it a night? That's giving up a little early ain't it?
I wish someone would've told the Rockies, a week ago, that's the way the game should be played when the Braves had them down 10-1.

That's what i call the biggest cheap shot I've seen in a while. Taking down someone while they're fighting someone else, pretty sorry, imo.

I'd still give it to Buster Posey although Gaby has played the full season.

Morgan should have to wear two helmets to the plate the rest of his career. He's scum.

His little ordeal going after the catcher with him 5 feet up the line was the most chicken#@#@ I've seen. Stuff like that makes me hope for a nice compound fracture.

For real? That's called having your teammates back. He earned a ton of respect in his locker room.

Morgan received what he deserved and it was sweet to watch. Sanchez got him in full stride it looks like. Great timing.

Not so much. Sanchez gained lots of respect in that locker room and across the league tonight. No doubt about it.

He also threw a hissy fit earlier this season against the O's that turned into an inside the park hr for Adam Jones.:cray:

He's in the midst of appealing a 7 game suspension for throwing a ball into the stands that hit a Philly fan.

I'm actually starting to like Morgan. The only play that i didn't agree with was when he ran into the Catcher when he didn't even have the ball. The rest of the plays i have no problem with at all.

I'm with ya! Plus, I like how his intro music is Too Short

They threw at him a second time because he was stealing bases. That is just pathetic. Volsted, Morgan, and Sanchez should all get suspended. The first time he got thrown at was obviously retaliation for running over Hayes, but running over catchers is something most people condone as part of the game. I've always that it was dirty, but I feel like I'm in the minority.

Also, that incident with throwing a ball into the crowd was blown out of proportion. There were Phillies fans right there who said he tossed it rainbow style and a bunch of them tried to catch it, but it ended up hitting some guy who wasn't paying attention. Morgan was just playing around with them.

I wouldn't say Morgan is in the mold as Bradley. Before the last couple weeks Morgan has never done anything to suggest he's a dirty classless player. As for the incident with Anderson, I never saw the play, so I don't know. Is it conceivable that Morgan really thought he had the ball??

Running over the catcher when a play is there is perfectly fine. When the catcher is in front of the plate near the cutout and you purposely run out of the basepath to make contact is beyond Bush League.

And no way he thought he had the ball.

Is that what happened when he ran over Bryan Anderson?
