Game Changer Coach at UF

This year’s uga team benefited from an overall down year in football, and still split their series with Bama, unfortunately winning the second matchup.

There are multiple teams over the past 10 years that would have smoked uga.

Backed their way into a NC. Yay??

Unusual these days to win a NC with a quarterback who won't be drafted by NFL.

They had a great defense.

I hate A to Z sports. They are the worst.

Yes it is a stupid name. But they're a stupid website.

Georgia did everything they could with regard to their schedule.

My god, they played what everyone thought was a playoff game to start the season. No one knew Clemson would drop off that much
Clemson ended up 10-3 too I think.

Yes those players doing will in the NFL, has zero bearing on whether nor not Joe Brady had a substantial impact on LSUs offensive production with those players on the LSU roster; the stats themselves show that he did.

If you want to engage in the 'willing suspension of disbelief' in order to pretend that the stats lines are to try to diminish Brady's impact on the 2019 LSU team, then feel free to do so, but that still won't make it reality.

LOL..... Being a so-called "offensive guru" also entails making an average team, any team, at least showing a semblance of having an offense and passing game..... Brady didn't do that either year at Carolina, in fact he was Gawd awful terrible. Any reasonable offensive mind could have done that at LSU with those studs.

You guys should definitely post on this a whole bunch more times. I am sure there are many things about this that deserve to be said, maybe even more than once.

What a myopic view of football you have. The Panthers were 5-7 with Brady as OC, and averaged 20 ppg. Without him they were 0-5, averaged 13 ppg, and their head coach is openly expressing interest in a possible job opening at Michigan.

But sure, Brady should have been able to roll into that scenario and recreate an NFL version of 2019 LSU in 9 months, because that's a realistic expectation.

He had Sam Darnold. I mean, what else do you need to have a high powered offense in the NFL?

Yup. UGA did have a great defense, but was it any better than some of the Bama defenses over the last 14 years or so? I don't think so. I actually think the Clemson defense a few years ago was just as talented. They had multiple 1st round picks too and the beat the brakes off a very talented Bama team.

But certainly, the 2019 LSU has got to be one of the best teams of all time. Insane how much talent they had on that team.

Meh whatever. Jones was a cornball, apparently Napier is as well. Jones being a cliche slinging cornball isn’t what lost him his job; he recruited well so apparently kids bought his idiocy. Jones sucking as a coach is what got him fired. Napier will succeed or fail based on his coaching.

It has no bearing? Idk if you checked but the NFL has a salary cap and a draft. The playing field is about as even as you can get. It comes down to the cream of the crop players and those three guys are in that category. They are without Brady and doing just fine without him. Cincinnati has one of the worst lines in the NFL. Burrow has been sacked more than 50 times but he’s still successful. Chase put up video game numbers against the two time defending AFC Champs. And Jefferson is Mr. Consistency with Kirk freaking Cousins running the offense. You aren’t convincing me that Brady made those players. Sorry, you can try with someone else but it ain’t working on me.

Alvin Kamara is one of the best RBs in the NFL. So why wasn't he more productive in college? Could it be **gasp** that poor coaching held him back?

There are a litany of elite NFL players who didn't have the greatest stats in college but turned out to be great NFL players. Or maybe they only had 1 great year in college after not getting much playing time/not playing well their first few years. That doesn't mean other coaches made them more talented. It just means other coaches were better at utilizing their skill sets.

Kyler Murrey was pretty bad at Texas A&M, he then transfers to Oklahoma and wins the Heisman and gets drafted 1st overall. So it's not about "making those players". It's about putting your elite talent players in a position to best utilize their elite skillsets. That's what good coaches do.

Yeah. At one point, Clemson had an awesome front four on D.
