This is a tragic way for the Lady Vols to end a season that started so well. Unfortunately, Kellie will take the most loss of respect from this tragedy. Rightly or wrongly, the buck stops with the head coach. BTW, look what Kim has done at LSU.

Kellie will not have a greater talent disparity against another team in SEC play than she did tonight. It is not going to get better for her given what she has coming in and what is on the bench. That is more or less baked into the cake now barring a real treasure trove in the portal.

I don't think there was that much talent disparity.

Talk about adversity. We were positioned as a top 10 team and the injury bug found us.

Coach I agree 100% with half of your assessment. Scoring offense is not effective right now. The motion looks like slow motion and too much dribbling and not enough movement and passing. As for the defense, this is where I disagree. Rae and Darby in particular got blown by so many times by UA's guards - they were no where near fast enough. That leaves your post on an island for help side defense to come over to defend and Puckett and Key cannot react fast enough to close the driving lane. Need some speedy guard and wing play.

Kellie. Isn’t playing she’s coaching. She’s doing a heck of a job considering she is only in year 3. We barely had more than 20 wins in a season when Holly was coach. In my opinion she’s doing it with less rated talent. Also the lady vols actually play well together and like each other. Holly’s teams never got along. No real sense of camaraderie either. Our teams didn’t even compete in big games until Kellie took over. How quickly do we forget how much this team has progressed under Kellie Harper.

Shakira has been pretty dominant this year, but I wouldn't put too much into the rumors of her being a problem. I think she was simply unhappy with the coaching staff and wasn't a good fit. As long as she can ball, a good coach can take care of the attitude.

Pretty impressed with Coach Yo. She took beyond doubt the worst team in the league and have positioned them in the top half of the conference with a top 25 ranking in just a couple of years. Even her first team that won less than 10 games played with fire - just like she has. She may yell at her players during the game, but at the end of the day, those players know how much she loves them and they really love her too. I could definitely see Rickea going to Ole Miss.

Asst Coach’s need to always keep it fresh. She needs to cut ties with Jon as a Coach and bring in another recruiter. Make him an analyst, break down film at home whatever, but him on staff is a wasted opportunity.

They just hired their recruiter less than a year ago.

This team was done...toast ..even if Horston wasn't injured....but w her out....dear Lord. It's too bad. Just chalk it up and move on for next year. It was fun for a while....and to think we had final 4 dreams for this team? Wow. What a massive collapse. There's no way in hell this team makes the final four....or anywhere close. Onto next year and pray for better injury luck. It's a shame. It happens.

I would start all the bench players against South Carolina on Sunday to get the starting five's attention.

Then bring in the starters at the first television timeout.

Team chemistry has been off for a little while. My guess is as good as yours as to why that is.

Losing to both Auburn who still only has 1 SEC win so far, and now Bama who lost 8 of 10 before this game to bottom feeders Aubirn and Vandy. There is legit reasons to be concerned. Horston before the injury didn't even seem to know the LV had a game to play. That's not hating, Kellie has lost this team.

When an opponent scores 70 or more points on Tennessee the record is 2 and 5. Less than 70 the record is 19 and 0.

Disagree.
With the previous coach, these LV's wouldn't even get to 20 wins. That earlier saga took a brand down the toilet faster than a high tech American Standard and was a failure only exceeded by Pruitt in football.





Just more contribution and running the offense from the point guard position would make an amazing difference.
