Yes, this was definitely a good but a different win. First time I remember breaking out to a 10-point lead around the 1st quarter. Then it basically staying around 10 the rest of the game. Usually, games that started like this we were 20 to 25+ winners, I truly believe the flow of the game by the refs frustrated the Lady Vols and all the stops gave OM plenty of time to gather and set up their D basically giving them multiple extra TOs, it was a different game for sure.

To much dribbling picking up the dribble gets her in a lot of trouble. She refuses to pass when she is double teamed sometime. 8 turnovers is to much for one player even when she stuffs the stat sheet like she does.

I can understand some of the frustration people have with decisions she makes - to a point - but only to a point. After that, I don't get it at all. Tennessee would not be where it is today without her play this year. You certainly wouldn't have won the UConn game without her. And that's not the only game she's impacted. I think Tennessee is wise to take the good with the sometimes not-as-good, and work with her to improve her game as she matures.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I know full well how valuable Cooper is, and how we'd definitely not be nearly as successful without her. I love the kid and am thrilled she's a Lady Vol.

But you have to admit there WAS a point in today's game when seeing her struggle posession after possession after possession when it was beginning to feel like it could possibly damage her confidence if she were left in there.

if somehow Missouri could win that game we would be very close to holding where we finish in our own hands. That would be their sixth loss and they have a couple tough games left. We win out six losses and they would be only team with a tiebreaker on us except Vandy whom I am not worried about they are going to lose another game for sure.

She is extremely valuable and you can see Coach Kim and even some of the players trying to reel her in to better decisions. She played well enough today to negate the eight turnovers. You just see how much greater she can be and hoping she will get there this season.

Second most points scored on Ole Miss this season. Only Alabama scored more with 84. Really fun to have a team that can score the ball. We had a little lull a couple weeks ago but from the looks of things we were working on a lot of defensive stuff.

Our defense has improved remarkably compared to a month ago. We can get stops when we need them now and the layup drill is over for the most part. Starting to put both together a little which is really exciting headed down the stretch.

After today.

Samara Spencer has 1631 total points, 505 total rebounds, 494 total assists for her career as well as 153 total steals


Also Cooper is on pace for a pretty special season this year. 424 points, 148 rebounds, 85 assists and 80 steals... Not sure when the last time a player went for 500 points, 150 rebounds and 100 assists/steals in the same season.

Watching this NC v NC state game...announcer said "sold out gym." What? You can see TONS of empty seats on TV alone. They're all out at the snack bar? Restroom? BS. I swear these announcers just make up stuff to say something.

Just setting here watching Texas and LSU game and comparing the officiating in their game vs ours. Their game looks like a men's game with the fiscal play they are getting away with. I think it is because there's 2 veteran coaches on the side lines and the refs know they are going to here it from them if they start calling ticky tack fouls. Most on here disagree with coach jumper about working the refs but until CKC calls out some of the fouls that are being called us and earns some respect from the refs they will keep making calls like they are making. It shows her talking to the refs during the game but at some point she is going to have to show a mean side of herself to let the refs know she has had enough.
