Those teams had more talent but poorer fundamentals and a much poorer attitude. Holly was just playing out the string. Kellie is the opposite. Her players are developed a little better, but she can't recruit and has to rely on the portal to get anyone at all to come at this point.

No, they were TERRIBLE. I thought Warlick went to two Elite Eights. They came very early in her tenure--and we totally collapsed MENTALLY in the 2nd half of both of those games. Just folded weakly. In soccer they talk of a team "mentality." Our team mentality under Warlic was weak--and after those Elite Eight games the quality of play went WAY down. There were years we were seeded 6/7 in the SEC tourney. We were...not good.

Everybody wanted to give Harper an extension because we whipped freakin' Toledo--and then of course we play a good team and lose. Upshot; Nothing's changed. Horston and Jackson--supposedly our two best players--with 13 turnovers tonight--including two by Horston right after we'd pulled within one, and her foul on the 3-point shot.

She had 3 in her first four years. She also coached the final two of Pats years.

When we first started to press why not bring in Miles then for energy. Because Jordan and Jas couldn’t trap for nothing.

5-15 from Horston with 7 turnovers is tough. That girl is a fighter and has real talent, but that's a real tough outing for her. A lot to break down about the game, but that's a tough one. I wonder if that injury in the Toledo game was bigger than she let on at the time.

Whats crazy to me without her 29 pts they would’ve had 45 damn points we needed a third and fourth options tonight and that killed us. But I love you Lady Vols you guys turned your season around I wish you ladies peace , rest , and training this off-season.!!!! Proud of the girls, been a long season with injuries and getting chemistry right. Very proud, they had a bad start but they never quit, and gave it their all and that’s all you can ask for.

Tennessee needs speed. Shoulda had Miles and Wynn in. Shoulda had them in more the whole season. Thus team is too slow and lacks passion. What happened to Tennessee defense?

I felt like RJ worked real hard. So did Walker. Thought Powell did pretty well too.

Doubt Tenn will ever compete again unless they start to value 3 point shooting. If they don’t place value on it, then they are gonna always be left in the dust.

It's a new world. There is nothing wrong with using the portal. The only issue with the portal is it hurts some kids coming out of high school. For a coach, you develop your recruiting strategy... it might be leveraged on high schoolers, portals, or internationals or some combo.
But as to using the portal, let me know how you think Maryland is doing or LSU is doing this tournament?
