She never was called upon to shoot from outside. That doesn’t mean she cannot shoot from outside. She’s a tremendous player and you cannot let her catch and shoot with absolutely no pressure of any nature. When was the last time you have ever seen a player that wide open on purpose? Terrible decision.

This is one stings bad and the worst part is we're going to see that shot all through the rest of the NCAA's whenever Tennessee plays and probably all next season especially when we play South Carolina and then during next year's tourney as well. It will be a hard slap every time they show it, but hopefully the team can use it for motivation, I guess.

Great game Vols. I thought it was over with Tennessee going to the line up 2 with no time left. Myself and my family about jumped through the floor together after a Cardoso bank in 3!! Best game you all have played all year.. at least the last 3 quarters. You guys deserved to win that one.

Shouldn’t be imo. Only thing we have going for us is our SOS which proved only that we absolutely cannot beat the best teams in WCBB.

One thing they have going against them is SOC.

I just don't buy into these things. I wish I did. It might make what happened feel less abysmal. But I don't think individual games where a team stands toe to toe with a better team suddenly means that lesser team will be better going forward. Teams routinely play above (or below) themselves for a game or two. Or they get up when they have a big game against a big time opponent. That's common. That happens. But it doesn't mean a team has changed. Sometimes it's just the circumstances of a particular moment.

I would every single time. Way better to have your players organized and set in that situation. Time and score are in your favor. As long as you execute there it really doesn’t matter what they draw up. We didn’t execute.
