nope, they don’t determine her value. She is the mother queen. Perhaps my point was worded poorly.
My overall point is that no one with ties to this program have been able to solve the riddle in women’s basketball in the UConn era (post 2000).
Walker and Dye have played so bad recently. Their play has been so bad I'd almost think it's intentional(I know it's not). It's just that mind boggling. This collapse.
We haven't looked right since Rae came back . Mystery .Has anyone considered that there may be some things happening internally with this team? For some reason it is like they are self destructing. I wonder if maybe there are factors at play with this team's performance that are not evident with just watching court play?
I've said this a couple of times ... WE NEED TO PRESS MORE even a little bit early on can get your team pumped and changes things up.
This aggressive TEAM is dictating uconn's offense! Love her but that's on KELLIE i get how important Key is but the guards should be aggressive as HELL.
Look at this aggressive team i'm loving it STOP. PLAYING. SCARED!
I think they are largely correct. Those titles were a product of Candace Parker and not a system overhaul. The inability to acknowledge the game changed is why we still are where we are in my opinion. But to each their own. That's well and good, but this notion that somehow Pat let basketball leave her behind is EXACTLY what the UConn fans said about Pat - in 2004. And then she put two more titles on the shelf. I'm fine with a lot of stuff, but this "aww Summitt was a product of her era and would be out of place today" is straight out of the Boneyard. Summitt adapted just fine until she got sick. She wasn't perfect, she obsessed too much at times about defense, but adaptation was not a problem for her.
