Ahh yes found this in the beginning of this video you can see Tamari and Shakira going at it and TK was called for a foul here and Kasi had to be in the game
She’s playing in Egypt right nowThat was among the strongest -- maybe even THE strongest -- finishes of Kasi's Tennessee career. It was power and determination at its best.
I really think Kasi is one of those players who, if she can find a way to keep playing, will be a late bloomer and finally realize her full potential in her late twenties. She had an almost childlike sweetness about her while she was in college, but eventually she'll mature into a serious player -- but like I said, IF she can find a way to stay in the game. She's physically strong already, but just needs to become a serious woman on the court.

We'll have to play one of the best games we've played all season. The energy they will have and the Referee effect for the home team will be a lot to overcome. Horston will again be the key player she can't go 1 for 12 or anything similar she will have to shoot it well as will all the team. We definitely can win but it is going to take a tremendous effort from our team to win today.I know we are 14-1 and I am really enjoying the moment. Hopefully we approach this game as if Ole Miss is one of the best teams in the country and play them like we are the underdog. We cannot allow our 14-1 record to give us the big head. I feel that our ladies will be ready for whatever Ole Miss throws at them and we will come out with a much needed win on the road.

This is a lot tougher game than Arkansas in some ways. They are much better defensively and they are going to make Tamari have to make some plays as they are going to drive the ball a lot today. If she can make the plays and they have their usual game at the three point line we win today. Their coach has been begging for a crowd used to Tennessee would have as many fans there as they did probably won't happen today cause of weather.I’m nervous as well. Do think this will be a very tough contest and likely come down to the 4th quarter. This team has shown over and over that doesn’t bother them though. They’re willing to finish games.
We do wear on teams as well. Our size and our intensity on the glass for 40 minutes breaks their spirit toward the end of the third. That requires so much from your legs and lower body to box out that hard every possession. Other teams just are not used to battling like that.
As everyone is well aware I’m always concerned about the officiating . Looking at our team stats I’m impressed though. For as aggressive and successful as our defense has been we are committing far fewer fouls than our opponents. Some of that is due to better offensive play and more play towards the rim drawing fouls. Most of it is defensive positioning and better rotation/anticipation. Also just using our length and making teams play over us by not getting beat as much off the dribble.
Helps to neutralize the road officiating, like in the Arkansas game. If we play them at home I think we win that game by 30.

That is the biggest worry that they won't allow her to play and we'll see some very weak fouls called on her. We all know that Key and Horston have to do a lot of the heavy lifting for us to win any game. You never know how a game will play out maybe both will play at a level that and in a way that even the Refs can't prevent us from winning we'll know the answer real soon.If the refs allow TK to play, this game will be a 10+ point win. After watching the Ole Miss vs Florida game, a tightly called game would actually hurt Ole Miss more than the Lady Vols. Lady Vols are very good defensively and really have good positioning and dare people to shoot over them. Ole Miss tends to go for more steals and are out of position a lot more. In my opinion, them having such a long time between games will be a factor that won’t be discussed unless we go up by a large margin. Austin was gassed towards the end of the Florida game. TK and Keyen are a lot more physical in the post then FL and that constant banging can tire you out. Conditioning this year just seems to be on another level especially with the post.
This Ole Miss game will depend a lot on how the refs call the game. If they allow that slappy, lots of contact play, we will struggle. If they call the game correctly and don't allow muggings, we will be fine.

Well... better to face that now and learn how to win under those conditions in January rather than in March. Because we are bound to face that style of game this season, and more than once.
Most theories contend that crowd noise is the delivery system for the home referee effect. Hopefully, a sparsely (or evenly) populated Pavilion will provide supporting evidence rather than counter-evidence.
Pretty sure we have faced this several times and if the last game is any indication, they may have learned to rise above the petty physicality designed to take them off their game. At least I hope so because they will get a steady diet of the things that they are struggling with until they show it no longer bothers them.
