Game Thread: (7/8) Lady Vols 70 - Ole Miss 58

This is a must-win game, IMO. Losing it would make too many people who are scrutinizing every game Tennessee plays with hopes of being able to say, "Yeah, well, we KNEW it was only a matter of time before the air went out of that balloon!"

The Lady Vols now have to win all their games against opponents similar to Ole Miss if they want people to trust that the not-so-distant past low times are actually truly in the past.

I don't care how much Ole Miss has improved. Tennessee, IF they want people to ever trust that they're on their way back to being like Tennessee of old, absolutely has to win this type of game.

Maybe I'm being overdramatic, but some of y'all know what I'm talking about. The Lady Vols' biggest challenge is overcoming the perception that they will eventually slip up and take a step back. The "told-ya-so" crowd is hoping this game will give them a chance to sow doubts. Tennessee needs to slam that door shut today!

Nobody knows how good or bad Ole Miss really is they do have like three five star players starting. They are 13 and 1 but most of their games were easy opponents. They did beat South Florida on a neutral court that is that big win of the season.

They are getting away with some serious shoving off on rebounds. But they're also making us rush quite a bit on offense.
