Well ,I have criticized Darby on multiple occasions for not performing when the lights go on but will have to give some praise here .IMO the 3 that she threw up with clock /horn sounding while it was in the air was the turning point in the game.She also hit two other 3's and had three steals

“I think she’s always prided herself on her defense,” Harper said. “But I’m telling you, defense in high school is very different than defense in college. There is usually a pretty substantial transition period for freshmen from high school to college, even good defensive players. We stayed on her all summer. Coach Sam (Williams) yelled at Brooklynn Miles more than anybody yelled at anybody in our program. She took it every single day and elevated her play. I mean, she absolutely elevated her play.

“The biggest thing, I think I mentioned this the other day, the biggest thing that she’s (Rae Burrell) missing right now are live reps,” Harper said. “I want to make sure that we keep her working towards feeling good in those live reps. So, we’re moving in that way, in that direction. There’s still no timeline. There’s still no timetable, but you know, we’re getting her in practice every day now.

“So therefore, dressing her out for games, I think is really important for everybody – for her, for our team, just mentally knowing that we’re moving in that direction.”

Go to the utsports.com site. Go to the women's basketball schedule. For each game they will show the result and they will also have a link that reads "box score" and another that reads "recap". If you click on the link for "box score" you will get a box score but not the one with +-. Click on "recap" and then scroll down a little and you will see another link for Box Score (pdf) and that one will have the +- stats.

Here are the efficiency ratings for every player through all the games played thus far.

Key 20, Horston 14, Burrell 13 one game really a quarter. Dye 11, Puckett 8, Walker 8, Green 7, Darby 4, Miles 7, Striplin 1.3, Wynn 3.3, Saunders 3.6, Rennie 0.6

Freshman learning curve. You can't hold on to the ball so long or dribble in traffic when being swarmed by smaller players. Green made that same mistake too often as well. She seemed to make adjustments in the 4th quarter.

Especially when her team rose to the occasion for the win! She was up and cheering on the bench that's what i love about this team. Dye has a tough shooting night and her teammates kept looking for her because they know what she can do and they'll need her!

Walker was AMAZING and the thing i'm most proud of besides just the 1 turnover was the fact she did what Horston usually does in keeping players heads up and in the game. It's the subtle things i liked with her last night.

Dye can elevate and shoot over most posts. She needs to develop a little more finesse in her release as does Wynn. Both great athletes.

I've not seen this level of teamwork, togetherness in a long time. This is how Kellie turned around her last team as well.

I have only watched highlights of game but when it was time to leave no doubt we dominated the 4th. This team's depth is really good and the way we play D and never quit mentality big things can happen in March when you have those 2 qualities. Keep working on offensive rhythm. Great Victory. In CHRIST Alone

Bama was collapsing in the paint on the post players lot of traffic. She was still trying to make a play needed to throw it back out of there. Couple times could've shot instead of passing.
