Here is an idea. Try drawing up an end of the game play that you have worked on repeatedly since the beginning of fall practice. You know, a play the players would know how to run with their eyes closed because they have practiced end game situations.

I do not post in Lady Vols but I am watching this and I do not understand how pitifully coached this team is the last couple of minutes of this game. Turnover after turnover and foul a 3 pt shot. I know the coach does not play but I have coached since my son was 5 and they have a better understanding of the do’s and donts of basketball than these girls and it starts at the top.

This was the typical road game where they get 20 foul shots and you get 10. That last minute was how not to play basketball.

It was bound to happen, especially when you play with freshman, they make mistakes. I hope no one will start asking for Holly’s head. We played an A&M team that played a great game against USC. We have a tough road ahead and this team will group up as they play tougher competition.

I'm sure this is a happy moment for the Holly Haters. You know who you are and I don't know why you even come in here. I can name you, if you wish. This was a road game, played in a **** hole and officiated by ass holes. Yeah, we screwed up some, but the foul calls were over the top.

Can't complain too much about foul calls, when we have attempted over 100 more than opponents. Some games we get more calls, some you don't.

I’m not blaming holly although I don’t think she had the best players in. If Mimi only plays because of her defense, why the heck was she in on that last possession? And I hope holly doesn’t create another DD by playing Evina no matter how badly she’s playing. She shouldn’t feel entitled to play cause she was a good high school player.

A&M also missed 16 in a row down the stretch and into overtime. And again, Holly doesn't call plays worth a damn and UT wastes possessions especially in overtime with nobody moving and no penetrating, and no touches down low. And don't get me started on the inbound play with 7.8.. my dog could've drawn something better.

Some y'all told me the unforced turnovers didn't matter at all, because they were winning and winning was all that mattered. I said it from the beginning, that they were going to get into a habit with turnovers and it was going to cost them.

I didn’t watch the game but the stat line shows Russell had 12 shots in the first half and only 4 in the second half and OT.

Russell is the key to this team. The Lady Vols will go as far as she takes them.

I am not a Holly Hater. I am just tired of watching a team that should have won by 10-15 points on talent alone lose by being unprepared in end game situations. Blaming this loss on officiating is just making more excuses for poor coaching.

Same here. Not sure what was going through Westbrooks head in the last 10 seconds of the game but surely she knew better than to foul a 3 point shooter when up 2 points with 7 seconds to go. Hard to blame that on Holly. The final play of e game though, looked like a complete cluster.

FWIW I didn't think that was a foul. The referee was itching to call it though so we should have not opened the door.

Nared got clobbered every time she got near the ball in the second half. However, several mistakes by Tenn in the last couple of minutes lost the game for us.
