Can't complain too much about foul calls, when we have attempted over 100 more than opponents. Some games we get more calls, some you don't.

This game we didn't, so yeah, I'll complain about the horrendous officiating every time.....win or lose.

Maybe losing this game will help us in the long run. They will watch the tape and realize how easily could have won this. Evina is a special player but her mistakes cost us big tonight. Meme killed us with her shooting and sloppy passes. Holly should tell her if she shoots, she’s coming out. She’s like a damn bull in a china closet.

Evina has to learn to back off the 3 point shooter but freshmen mistakes it happens smh..this loss will only make them hungrier for the W over SC

I would have fouled before they got a shot we had a couple to give really don't want them getting a three point shot off.

The truth is Nared and Westbrook are in a shooting slump and it is really affecting our total ppg. They are taking a lot of shots not making many. Same for Jackson.

10 of 36 really can't be blamed on Holly. Nared 6 of 18. Westbrook 4 of 12. Jackson 0 of 6, If your going to take that many shots 36 you have to make more than 10.

Some y'all told me the unforced turnovers didn't matter at all, because they were winning and winning was all that mattered. I said it from the beginning, that they were going to get into a habit with turnovers and it was going to cost them.

I agree with you on the turnovers. That is a concern I have had the last three games. This has been a trademark of the Lady Vols under Holly. We also have had a habit of becoming 3 point brickers. Though I am trying not to be a fire Holly person, however, this team has a lot to work on. We also need to consider that no matter how good of a coach you are, you have to live with freshman mistakes when you play them. How well these freshmen become will depend, in large part, upon good coaching.

I told my friend after Evina fouled the three-point shooter and then made all three free throws, "If I were Holly I'd take her out -- SHE'S RATTLED AND A LIABILITY right now."

That she was so nervous that she threw the ball away at the end was not a big surprise to me. Evina was wound waaaaay too tightly for that play.

I'd have put KD in. It was Dunbar, after all, who was the only person in the timeout huddle begging everyone to NOT FOUL A THREE-POINT SHOOTER!

I feel like Dunbar would have had a cooler head in that situation. Now Westbrook's confidence has taken a huge hit.

No, I was referring to the high amount of team turnovers. We were avg. about 18 or 19 TO's a game and more than half of those were unforced. Trying too many no look passes, having the wrong angles on post entry passes and throwing bounce passes at the players feet.

Most of the TO's are by the freshmen

This game was lost due to freshman inexperience. Holly has to play a freshmen, either Westbrook or Hayes, at the point guard. She has no choice. Also, she is forced to play Jackson, a good defender but not so good shooter, at the shooting guard position although Hayes, an inexperienced freshmen, is a much better offensive player.

I didn't get why she took Green out after she was contributing in the first half and we didn't see her again until Mercedes picked up her 2nd foul.

The bad thing about losing tonight was that this was the easiest game in the four-game stretch. We were upset by a team ranked 10 spots below us. It's the worst L of the 4 to have, and it's in-conference. The LVs weren't beaten by a better team. They threw away a game they should have won, especially with their depth advantage at the end.

Maybe it'll be a wakeup call. Lots to learn from the past three games, especially for the FR.

Rankings notwithstanding, TAMU is no slouch. Best PG in the SEC, a dangerous shooter, an athletic rebounder and defender, and a dominant post. They are better than their record. I think that they are a tougher matchup for Tennessee than Miss State.

Losing sucks, but they lost by 3 points in OT on the road to a very good team. Tennessee was a FF caliber team before this game, and they still are after losing.

ND took a pounding tonight. It'll be two teams looking for a bounceback W next game. It's OTR, but ND is down to 7 scholarship players, and the LVs have the depth to beat them.

We need Nared and Westbrook to find their shots and get their confidence back. It'll be harder to win the next three games if their tentative shooting and decreased offensive production continues.

Folks, we are not going to win them all. This was a tough game that we should have won but didn't. With the way we are shooting now, I'm surprised it was as close as it was. This group doesn't give up and that will pay off in the long run. Good experience in a hostile environment tonight. Hate to lose, but it's not the end of the world.
