they need them to use their weapons on the bench tooNot fair Jump. All good teams need players who are coaches on floor you know this.
What is it with you and these timeouts? I think it's a good thing we had them at the end of the game. Now I also think we should have used one to slow things down in the 1st half as well. I am not sold on our coaching staff and my expectations stand still but to give some credit the 2nd half Showed something went on in that locker room other than dancing and a tea party.read the whole post
Ccach called 3 timeouts in less than a minute in the last two minutes,,went home with one
It was ugly no doubt but coach got them ready in 2nd half made good adjustments and yes leaders on floor helped. All teams that strive for championship have this. In CHRIST Alonethey need them to use their weapons on the bench too
no, I am not going to be fair
I am going post from a coach's viewpoint, not from a giddy fans
I am just glad I was alone in the first half,,,otherwise I would be chewing on a bar of soap from a mouth-washing
I was livid and if you read the comments of thattime...SO was everybody else
Doing your best Pruitt impersonation for a few weeks now. You slid down to that level from your Jones emulation period. I shudder to think where your next phase takes us. Your 30 assistant coaches have followed your lead and liked your offerings. Oh joy.they need them to use their weapons on the bench too

Aliski? Is that you?WinnerCircle SEC Primetime recap is underway! I’m watching the replay over and will breakdown this performance later tonight or tomorrow morning.
Make no mistake… TN dominated the 2nd half.
They bullied Auburn on their homecourt.
It was like watching a heavyweight champ taking the will out of their opponent to fight back.
Somebody said Rickea can’t score 24 pts grab 20 rebs every game… says who?
Out of 5 games.. none of which she might’ve even been 100%.. heck she might still be recovering as we speak and has a 31 pt and 19 reb & 24 pt 20 reb performances.
You can’t make this stuff up some people just are hurting inside based on these ladies having success.

indeed they did,,,I haven't seen a 20-20 player in years,,,Rj almost did that tonightMs. Jackson has played in 5 games and has 90 points and 56 rebounds. We will not see her equal around here for a long time.
The rebounding is extra impressive.
I'm really worried about the beating she's taking and the extended mins she's having to play. But what a player!
The Phoenix Mercury got an eyefull tonight.
RJ is always going to compete. Hard. But for sure, she needs help. Esp against better teams. I'm worried RJ is just going to get beat to death. She will spend alot of time at the ft line. Others have to step up like JP has.RJ is not gonna compete without a supporting cast. We are asking alot of her to play at that level every night. To be straight I'm not saying she cant do it just saying other or several other reliable scoring options would make me more comfortable.
Didn’t they!! RJ may have been a little tight to start the game as this was a job interview. She is special!Ms. Jackson has played in 5 games and has 90 points and 56 rebounds. We will not see her equal around here for a long time.

And for late game situations where a player gets stuck and needs to call a t.o. to save possesion. Exactly like what happened w RJ late in the game.Maybe she saved those so she had them available for a close finish?????? Great coaching in my book!!
show me that statistic...I'll wait,,,...And for late game situations where a player gets stuck and needs to call a t.o. to save possesion. Exactly like what happened w RJ late in the game.
The 'Magical Time Out' is just one of those cliches armchair coach wannabes spout. It's been statistically shown that more often than not, time outs do not stop runs. That's why many coaches, like Hall of Fame nominee Rick Barnes, quit using them that way long ago.
