Smith will probably start for them...Walljasper has been their DP a lot lately but she could also start for them...Hoover has pitched their last two games don't see her going a 3rd time although I could be wrong about 3 games in 3 days

Like I said in my previous post, I think she's hurt pretty seriously. I doubt we see her at least through the SECT but possibly beyond that heading into the regionals. She could be done for the rest of the season I'm afraid. That was a nasty HBP she took.

I hope she can come back. Same thing happened to Melissa Davin in 2013 - she broke her hand and couldn't go in the post-season. I think she made a PH appearance against Oklahoma in the World Series and that was it.

in women's softball. I noticed her odd squat and throw technique--completely goofy. Then there is the florida pitcher, Barnwell?, who must meet and touch hands with the catcher after every strikeout. Really? Must you? Of course touching hands is THE thing in women's softball--all the players in the field doing it ALL the time. And let's not forget the habit--now quite acute--of players glancing at the tip sheet attached to their forearms. Pitchers AND batters do it now, sometimes after every pitch. Seems very unnecessary since coaches call pitches anyway--and hitters, well, just stand in there and hit.

So, they're moving the Bama-Auburn game ahead of ours due to weather? Why not start our game at noon & then push back the Bama-Auburn game to a later time? We're supposed to play 1st.

That makes no sense to me. We should be the noon game & Bama game for whatever time they push it back to play. That's crazy. Has a time been mentioned for our game to be pushed back to play? Say, it was originally scheduled for 2 PM EST so will it now be a 7 PM or 8 PM game or what?

they changed the schedule just now...we play at 3pm ET

Gaffin fractured her wrist...she's done for the tourney...will be reevaluated afterward..huge loss for us

You said in your last post the Bama-Auburn game was moved up to noon & UT game was moved back. Wasn't the original times for these 2 games 3 PM & 5:30 PM EST anyhow? With us playing the 3 PM game & Bama playing the 5:30 PM game next? I'm confused as heck now.

yeah they changed it...we play at 3pm and Bama-Auburn is 5:30...Bama and Auburn were supposed to play tonight

Thanks..wouldn't mind seeing a rain delay or long game first game tomorrow..push that start back to 4ET and I can watch it

Thanks for clearing this up. So, the winner of Bama vs Auburn in the 1st game tomorrow will have to play 2 games tomorrow regardless.
