Coaches can improve a lot of things players can do and not do. Layups is not one of them. That is entirely on the player.

Wynn has brought good energy and it's so nice seeing Key have a presence on both ends. Otherwise, not too much to like about that first quarter. They're 3-16 on FGs but not sure how much of that is due to anything we're doing defensively, other than maybe our size bothering them.

Well getting great looks but no one stepping up shooting. Its about our wing play this last month Darby and Spears. They have to start contributing. In CHRIST Alone

We shot a whopping 25 percent in that quarter.

The offense has regressed to the level of the defense. This team does nothing at a high level. I really am beginning to think the tournament streak is over this year.

We'd be getting close to 40 if any of these players could make an unguarded shot. Jewell is 0 for 5 and it is shots she would shoot in practice. Quite a few other shots missed. Poor attention span on passes.

I disagree. Their is a proper technique for a layup: How to Do a Layup: 12 Steps (with Pictures) - wikiHow. Coach should teach if player cannot make layups.

U learn how to make layups when you’re a kid, so I guess all the coaches they’ve had throughout the years didn’t teach them.

My starters would be Powell, Edie, Wynn, Jackson when she returns and Striplin.

They’re the only ones playing with the type of energy and determination we need. Let the others learn or just sit.

These players are 18-23 years old and played organized basketball most of their lives...

They should have been taught on how to shoot a proper lay up years ago..good grief...

Maybe you should request a meeting with the AD to discuss your concerns. If it is not granted, just have him removed from his position. If that doesn’t work for you, just suck it up and drop your issue because everyone in a position to act disagrees with you.
