So walk-ons do not take away from the results. Thanks for realizing that and acknowledging it.

If you can factually demonstrate that the staff turned down a post player in order to include Edie and Ace, please do so. We'll wait.

So, what is it? Does Kelly not recruit well, or does she recruit well, but they aren't being coached well? Either way, this is not what we expect for Lady VOLS basketball. You may have the excuse of not having Rickea for ranked teams, but losing by 10 points to MTSU is bad, even without her. This program had been the "ALABAMA" of lady's basketball for years and years and it's inexcusable how far they have fallen.

They are harming this team because we don’t have the talent to compete. We have no business having 2-3 players on our roster who are incapable of contributing in meaningful games.

Ouch, that will be a team that misses the women's tournament then. They look unathletic, fundamentally flawed with no real identity.

I like Holly, I just don't think she is the coach we need.

There hasn't been silence, deafening or otherwise, just not the info we most want to know like the specific injury and when the hell she'll be back. And it is frustrating.

Imagine RJ's frustration, sitting there watching her team implode, and setting up impossible expectations when she returns. Also being completely forgotten in national discussion of watch lists, awards, etc. In todays WBB world, you snooze for a minute you get zoomed by with all the great young players.

It's a bad situation, all the way around.

She could have recruited Courtney Whitson, that would have been a low hanging fruit for a good player. I'm sure MTSU is full of players that would have went to Tennessee if recruited, but you know we have to recruit New York or California.

Pat always had the complimentary in state walkons who had little to no chance of playing. Even during the heyday in the late 90s there was Misty Greene and everyone's faves, Sara and Amanda. It was a tradition Pat started. BTW, Lil Darb is much better than any of those players.

Right, but Pat went and beat the doors off everyone and could then sit her stars and give the garbage minutes to the underclassmen and walk-ons.

We aren’t beating anyone, even mid-majors at the moment. So why have a walk-on who will barely see the floor because we never have a lead?

Those roster spots would be better suited brining in underclassmen who need a little work but have size and can go. Kellie can’t recruit though so she just brings in whoever to keep the seats warm.

Right but you sorta said "pat would never". Pat started it, but yeah, she could afford it.

But guys, if you think either Jon or Lil Darb is the problem here, I don't know what to tell you.

Ok so we literally have 3 more scholarships open… we literally have room for more. And again idk y ur bashing Strick. She literally has given us good mins… And few mins at that. She’s also the youngest on the team. There’s 10 other girls for u to worry about. Change your complaining elsewhere.

She has not given us any good minutes. Sorry, clearly you’re related or a friend. Kid does not have it for this level. She looks lost, slow and out of her league.

Not her fault. It goes back to the coaching and inability to recruit. She should never have been on this roster.

We can disagree but I won’t be changing my opinion.

MTSU just played Bethel a couple weeks ago and only made 6 of 19 threes. Bethel won the game by 14 points. 12 for 23 is like 18 of 23 two point baskets or 78 percent. How you expect to win giving up that kind of percentage.

Nothing will change this season, if Rickea doesn’t come back this season and there’s a new coach, people will want that coach fired as well since they won’t win many games because of the roster. Change at the end of the season and get someone with elite players on their roster, that will transfer with them, that’s our only hope.
