How stupid is what the female announcer just said .. She says with .9 on the clock UT will want to get the ball Inbound then pass it back to the girl inbounding the ball... Literally .9 on the clock is she crazy? Does she not understand clock management either? Anyway just a heartbreaking loss, girl threw up a pure trash shot and it went in. Idk who that was sitting with Andy Brock but my lord ..

Don’t understand-we had 2 fouls to give and could have caused them to regroup. LSU had no timeouts left.

Lack of effective defense and poor rebounding lost this game just like the Oklahoma game ......too many uncontested and meekly contested layups .

We had fouls to waste. Not smart enough to waste them.

Their last possession began with 0:22 to go. We definitely should’ve wasted the fouls we had to give starting with about 6-7 seconds left, to shorten their last play setup. Not a shooting foul, but on the floor before she started her drive.
Anyway, proud of the team & very optimistic about what CKC has doing.

I am again excited to watch our Lady Vols Basketball team!

First year coach, she is building a solid program that Pat Summitt would be proud of. The ladies fought hard, didnt give up. Ya missed some shots, lazy on rebounds, but damn good game. Give the ladies and the coaches some credit.

Nothing because I didn’t expect anything, things were unknown but now ive seen enough to make my assessment on this team and I have. I’ll just be looking forward to the transfer portal, hope to get a big time go to scorer.

Sure, single game sample sizes is a terrible way to contextualize +/-. The problematic part of +/- is the statistical “noise” accompanying it. Team performance provides the baseline for the stat, but the stat is applied to a single player. But those do not match up

The Ladies played one heck of a game against a team with five stars aplenty and held their own. We can point out a lot of mistakes by the Ladies but they also forced LSU into several mistakes. This team proved that they can play against the best. I am proud of the Ladies and the fact they did not fold even when behind 18 points. They will get back on a winning track.

I said Gilbert was one of the best players in the portal last year. A lot of players leave Arizona and the coach there basically benched her and wanted her to leave. She did and as always Mulkey was there to grab her.

Hard to make up for all the easy shots we gave up the 1st quarter and half. Got to stop dribble penetration through the last one was hope and a prayer. Just get better on defense and we can beat anyone. GLV

I agree 100%. We have to hold quality opponents to 80 points or less. I hope the LVs can achieve this goal this year. The LVs remind me of a few of the UCONN teams. That is, great offense but poor defense.

I wasn’t even going to write anything but it was so frustrating watch them lose this game, I’m just not someone that going to not care and talk about moral victories, we all take losing differently.

Didn’t expect anything, things were unknown, but already made an assessment after 15 games. Yep you know ball buddy
